The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.
- Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects in a manner that maximizes efficiency and profitability.
- Achieves manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises production results
- They will work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills
- Needs to be a driver, maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets
- Assigns personnel to accomplish work results; establishes priorities; monitors progress; resolves problems; evaluates employees, and conducts orientation and training of personnel
- Responsible for the safety of all employees and ensures they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position
- Accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures
- Responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field
- Experience in with the hydraulics industry strongly preferred
- Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives
- Ability to develop relationships, and foster a team environment

As a CXT Production Worker in our precast construction division, you will perform a variety of tasks involved in the production of LB Foster products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe. You will be trained to work in all areas of production.
This Position.
Is responsible for working with a production team to manufacture precast products and buildings.
Some examples of the work you might do includes.
- Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Carryout verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
- Manufacture precast concrete products in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
- Trained to complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.
- Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.
- Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment, preferred
- Precast production experience a plus (pay based on experience)
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.
- A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.
- Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
