JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing general, day-to-day assistance for the operation of the plasma collection center to include efficient, productive working atmosphere, ensuring compliant plasma collections under the direction of the Center Manager. Operates within the scope of EU Guidance on Good Manufacturing Practice and FDA cGMP 21CFR.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures compliance of all plasma collection center activities with SOPs and other company standards and protocols to meet the regulatory requirements of the FDA, EMEA, customer specifications and other regulatory bodies as required.
  • Ensures donor flow throughout the plasma collection center occurs with a sense of urgency, minimizing wait time by working carefully and efficiently to achieve a balance between customer satisfaction and company and/or center goals.
  • Alerts management of donor flow issues and when equipment poses a risk to donor/product safety.
  • Performs troubleshooting on equipment failures within scope of training, as required.
  • Includes proper diagnosis and documentation of events to include removing and/or returning equipment to service.
  • Identifies potential, serious, or chronic problems affecting quality of compliance.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment and ensures sufficient operating supplies are available as needed.
  • Verifies and changes supply lot numbers when a new lot number is introduced into production.
  • Ensures timely response to alarms and assists in maintaining alarm system, when needed.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory levels of soft goods and supplies, stocking supplies, and opening and closing lots for usage.
  • Assists management team in educating new donors on different Specialty Programs.
  • Communicates areas of opportunities to center management regarding work area conditions and identifies areas of improvement, as needed.
  • Follows all SOPs and regulatory policies and procedures, including the employee handbook.
  • Remains current on SOPs changes.
  • Follows all Health Safety & Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
  • Maintains data integrity and confidentiality of personnel, donor, and plasma collection center information.
  • Performs opening and closing duties in absence of Center Manager or Assistant Manager, as needed.
  • Trains employees to maintain daily plasma collection center operations.
  • Ensure staff complies with policies and SOPs.
  • Provides customer service assistance when issues arise.
  • Provides floor coverage during breaks and lunches.
  • Assists center management in preparing weekly schedules.

**JOB SUMMARY**
Responsible for providing general, day-to-day assistance for the operation of the plasma collection center to include efficient, productive working atmosphere, ensuring compliant plasma collections under the direction of the Center Manager. Operates within the scope of EU Guidance on Good Manufacturing Practice and FDA cGMP 21CFR.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Core**
+ Ensures compliance of all plasma collection center activities with SOPs and other company standards and protocols to meet the regulatory requirements of the FDA, EMEA, customer specifications and other regulatory bodies as required.
+ Ensures donor flow throughout the plasma collection center occurs with a sense of urgency, minimizing wait time by working carefully and efficiently to achieve a balance between customer satisfaction and company and/or center goals.
+ Alerts management of donor flow issues and when equipment poses a risk to donor/product safety.
+ Performs troubleshooting on equipment failures within scope of training, as required.
+ Includes proper diagnosis and documentation of events to include removing and/or returning equipment to service.
+ Identifies potential, serious, or chronic problems affecting quality of compliance.
+ Maintains a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment and ensures sufficient operating supplies are available as needed.
+ Verifies and changes supply lot numbers when a new lot number is introduced into production.
+ Ensures timely response to alarms and assists in maintaining alarm system, when needed.
+ Assists in maintaining inventory levels of soft goods and supplies, stocking supplies, and opening and closing lots for usage.
+ Assists management team in educating new donors on different Specialty Programs.
+ Communicates areas of opportunities to center management regarding work area conditions and identifies areas of improvement, as needed.
+ Follows all SOPs and regulatory policies and procedures, including the employee handbook.
+ Remains current on SOPs changes.
+ Follows all Health Safety & Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
+ Maintains data integrity and confidentiality of personnel, donor, and plasma collection center information.
+ Performs opening and closing duties in absence of Center Manager or Assistant Manager, as needed.
+ Trains employees to maintain daily plasma collection center operations.
+ Ensure staff complies with policies and SOPs.
+ Provides customer service assistance when issues arise.
+ Provides floor coverage during breaks and lunches.
+ Assists center management in preparing weekly schedules.

**REQUIREMENTS**
**Education, Qualifications & Experience**
+ High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
**Physical Requirements**
Work is primarily light in nature, with exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Use of fingers to type and / or enter numbers on keyboards, keypads, etc. along with grabbing object(s). Additionally includes, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, and walking. Involves sitting, standing, and walking most of the time.
**Working Conditions**
