PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will be within the Operations Team and report to an Operations Foreman. This position operates, monitors, trouble shoots and maintains all equipment necessary to generate electricity.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Operates, monitors and maintains turbines, generators, pumps, scrubber plants, industrial wastewater treatment plants, boilers, motors, combustion turbines and associated auxilliary equipment.
- Operates various repair/test equipment.
- Performs all work during an assigned shift in a safe, continuous and efficient manner while maintaining environmental and housekeeping standards within federal, state and local guidelines. Performs work per Work Management processes and ensures safety using equipment Tag out process.
- Adheres to the conduct of operations and operations fundamentals.
- Available for rotating shift work and overtime as required.
- Perform work on lube schedule.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in accordance with Article 5.12 of the CBA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology or Electronics OR
- HS Diploma with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology
- Successfully complete the training requirements and time in job requirements for the position including previously passing the POSS test
- Availability for rotating shift work and overtime as required in accordance with Article 5.8 of the CBA
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of power plant prints
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle
- Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing and walking long distances

Key Responsibilities
- Print medication labels accurately and ensure they correspond with the prescriptions.
- Hand-pack medications following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Submit packed medications to pharmacists for verification and quality assurance.
- Maintain organized workstations and restock supplies for the upcoming shifts.
- Achieve production targets by efficiently packing blister cards, aiming to pack 35 blister cards per hour, totaling up to 250 per day.
- Review the day's forecast and anniversary lists to determine the medications to be packaged.

This position requires the ability to routinely lift and move 60 lb containers unassisted, up to 750 lb containers using hand carts, and wear and work in half-mask and full-mask respirators for extended periods.
Main Responsibilities :
· Filling and moving chemical containers
· Measuring and transferring liquid and powdered raw materials between bulk tanks, batch tanks, and various containers
· Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
· Occasional daily (during normal working hours) travel with delivery personal to assist in on site chemical deliveries
· Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED
· Must have the ability to lift and move 60 lbs unassisted
· Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Qualifications:
· Computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
· Forklift operation certification
· Prior Hazcom training and experience
· Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
· Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
· Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
