Mixes different colors and bases in a variety of bases and tints to match established color standards.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Measure and weigh specified quantities of tint into the proper blending unit according to the formula sheet
- Match colors to the provided standards with tint colors specified on the formula sheet
- Maintain accurate inventory levels at all times
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Will cross-train in other departments and perform these duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Arrive at your work cell at the scheduled start time of your shift.
2. Participate in a pass down during the overlap of shifts. (plants 2&3)
3. Re-stock necessary supplies for the oncoming shift during overlap. (plants 2&3)
4. Remain at your work cell until the scheduled end time of your shift.
5. Operate the work cell you are assigned to. This may include multiple molding machines, secondary part
operations, or other part related processes.
6. Understand eye-path and part quality expectations (per operations manual)
7. Perform 1 quality check at the beginning of your shift on each machine or part.
8. Maintain achievement of work cell expected rates. Report rate achievement issues to your supervisor.
(i.e. production cell running slow etc)
9. If the molds that you are running require cleaning at the beginning of your shift, perform this task as
designated by the work instructions.
10. It is a requirement to be able to start up and shut down machines properly. It is not always a
requirement to perform this task. Refer to your operations manual for details.
11. Must complete Rockware Training.
12. Accurately and timely input data into Rockware such as scrap and other production codes.
13. Contact the appropriate people regarding quality, machine and other work related issues. This can be
done at your work cell tablet.
14. Operate your cell following the instructions in the manual. Standard work must be followed to best
make quality products.
15. Package parts per work instructions using counts and dexterity.
16. Follow proper labeling instructions.
17. Participate in plant house keeping.
18. Follow all Quality System procedures.
19. Any other duties assigned by your Supervisor or Team Leader.
