Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturing environment as a General Production Worker, where you will play a vital role in producing quality electronic equipment. You will work as part of a team, flexibly switching between tasks to ensure proficiency in various functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate or assemble electronic equipment according to written work instructions.

• Rotate between multiple work areas daily based on established patterns.

• Deliver materials to point of consumption in response to Kanban signals.

• Accurately perform inventory transactions.

• Actively participate in Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings.

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

• Maintain a well-organized and clean work area.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret English.

• Competency in using computers.

• Familiarity with small parts.

• Assembler and production experience.

• Knowledge of PCB, soldering, wire, and cable assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Description

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be part of a team responsible for safely and efficiently producing precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.

• Strip and clean concrete forms and products

• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete

• Perform basic carpentry skills

• Facility maintenance and housekeeping

• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

MUST HAVES:

-Hand Tool use

-Blueprint reading

Manufacturing or construction experience preferred

Knowledge of basic math and measurements

Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members

• Interact with parametric models/families (Autodesk Revit); use these families as basis for creating a high-quality and error-free fabrication model, with assistance from inner DC team
• Perform geometric modeling-based tasks through multiple projects @ varying levels of detail with adherence to Timberlab-DC standards

• Continuously track, manage, and advocate for design issues (RFIs or otherwise) through initial submission to closeout and implementation
• Research project standards, applicable building codes, material specifications, material tolerance, CNC tolerance and part characteristics, for implementation into Timberlab DC projects (as assigned by DC staff)
• Work directly with suppliers (or consultants) to determine manufacturing/fabrication constraints for specific projects
• Develop knowledge in 2D/3D model review via Navisworks, Revit Schedules, and review current global/shared parameters
• Develop understanding non-timber systems (MEPF, steel, architectural, etc.) and their interaction with mass timber and overall impact to DC scope
• Develop understanding of schedule process within DC team and its broader impact on early pre-con efforts, manufacturing, fabrication sequence, and install
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of construction-related experience, or equivalent
• Construction related internship experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Fundamental understanding of contract plans through all disciplines
• Ability to read and interpret structural details, steel vendor shop drawings, non-structural shop drawings, product data, etc. - for consistency and risk mitigation
• Effective organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal English language communication skills
• Ability to use independent judgment, self-starter
• Drafting and advanced computer skills a plus
• Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems preferred

Pay Rate: $19.00/HR (Shift Diff)

Description:

Standing and walking up to 13 hours on Production Floor

Able to lift and carry up to 20-50lbs throughout the shift not repeatedly

Able to push/pull product on pallets that weight up to 800+ lbs, using pallet jack

Able to continually bend, stoop, twist, use arms, wrists and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shift

Able to occasionally kneel, reach above the shoulder, work at heights and climb steps with ingredients weighing 25 to 65 lbs from bucket, pouring ingredients into bins.
