Primary Function:
The successful candidate will join the Operations Group as part of a team tasked with operating CVD diamond and associated manufacturing equipment in Gresham, Oregon. This is a rare opportunity to be a key contributor in ramping a new process in a production facility.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Perform machine set-up/operation, routine maintenance, and monitoring of tools and systems.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause and make reliability improvement recommendations.
- Be responsible for first-level trouble-shooting, equipment recoveries and repairs that are commensurate with level of expertise, (training provided).
- Read production schedules, Bills of Materials, Operational Procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and be responsible for quality charting, prioritization, analyzing and interpreting data tracking, and running reports through an automated Manufacturing Execution System.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts.
- Notify management of any conditions felt as being undesirable or nonconforming to safety, product specification or any procedures that cannot be performed as documented.
- Provide written and verbal summaries of process, and equipment issues encountered during operation.
- Other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
The Production Technician will assemble industrial packages from bare parts, in "job shop" and production environment. This includes mechanical connections, supports and structures, and control panels. Ability to perform tasks related to production and warehousing.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electronic Panel Assembly experience is desired
- Read & interpret assembly drawings, P&ID's and electrical schematics
- Mechanical skills
- Physically able (lifting of 50+ lbs. occasionally)
- Work well independently/self-starter and with a team
Such duties include, but are not limited to
- Assemble mechanical components, such as, air ends, blowers and other compressed air system components, working on a shop floor
- Inspects components for proper assembly, specifications, fit and finish
- Assembles and positions components according to knowledge of unit being assembled and through interpretation of engineering drawings or electrical schematics
- Positions components with a forklift, overhead crane or manually fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand and portable powered tools
- Bend and install tubing and fittings for oil lubrication/cooling systems
- Install plumbing.
- Align couplings and sub-assemblies to gearbox or other components
- Maintaining staged parts and liaison between production and parts
- Minimum forklift experience preferred but not required
- Work in conjunction with Production Foreman to ensure all duties are complete to end of units
- Perform all workstation and shop clean-up duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience may include mechanical assembly and disassembly.
- Requires the ability to use and function with handheld mechanical measurement devices (micrometer, dial indicator, caliper) as well as electrical measurement devices (Fluke meter).
- Ability to apply electrical and mechanical principles
- Read and wire equipment in conformance with electrical schematics
- Recognize common mechanical and electrical components
- Excellent communication skills
- Must work well with others in a safe and self-directed manner
- Exert force of 25 lbs. frequently and 50-100 lbs. occasionally. Constant stooping, balancing, crouching, reaching, fingering, and feeling.

This position prepares, picks and fulfills orders for delivery, and assists in the daily cleaning of equipment and restocking of supplies. Essential Functions
Use both manual and mechanized processes to weigh, grind, bag and seal bagged coffee.
Assist with change-overs and basic troubleshooting on mechanized processes.
Rack, box or palletize to prepare bagged coffee for distribution.
Fulfill, pick and prepare customer orders for delivery with extreme accuracy.
Comply with established Good Manufacturing Practices and standards.
Complete work efficiently and safely, maintain a clean and tidy work space and restock and prep supplies as needed.
Assist with e-commerce and shipping fulfillment

Summary

Duties:
- Assemble mechanical assemblies, such as air ends, blowers, and other compressed air system components, working on a shop floor.
- Inspects components for proper assembly, specifications, fit and finish.
- Assembles and positions components according to knowledge of unit being assembled and through interpretation of engineering drawings, layout drawings or electrical schematics.
- Positions components with a forklift, overhead crane or manually and fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand and portable powered tools.
- Bend and install tubing and fittings for oil lubrication/cooling systems and plumbing.
- Align couplings and sub-assemblies to gearbox or other components.
- Provide feedback regarding design improvements, updates, and procedures, verbally and in writing, as required.
