**The Role**
VMware by Broadcom's Professional Services Organization (PSO) seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead customer-facing projects in the Applications & Network Security Business Unit.
You will deliver solutions like vDefend Security and Avi Load Balancing, ensuring customer business needs are met with exceptional quality. As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage multiple engagements, controlling scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources to drive project success. Collaborating with Sales, Technical Delivery, Business Operations, and other stakeholders, you'll ensure projects align with contracts and promote customer adoption and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is driven, holds a PMP certification, and has a proven track record in complex software delivery projects. Strong communication, leadership, and technical aptitude are essential, with prior security clearance highly desirable for U.S. government projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plan and execute projects to deliver high-quality results, managing scope, timelines, budgets, communications, and resources (internal or subcontracted).
+ Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using structured processes.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align and drive project progress.
+ Lead multi-role, multi-location, and multi-cultural teams, resolving dependencies and issues.
+ Manage changes to seize sales opportunities and expand PSO's footprint.

+ Contribute thought leadership to enhance the Applications & Network Security PSO practice.
+ Stay within the contracted scope, demonstrating commercial awareness.

**Pre-Requisites**
+ Location: US East Coast or Central time zones
+ On-site at Office Location: near some of Broadcom's offices, required to work onsite during the whole work week.
+ English is required, and fluency in Spanish is desirable
+ Ability to travel up to 20% if required.

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,900 - $171,000

Qualifications

+ Develop knowledge of industry best practices and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and requirements, including, but not limited to, OCC Heightened Standards.
+ Supports the resolution of internal audit, compliance, or risk management related issues that could impact the classification, availability, or integrity of data or processes.
+ Highlights control breakdowns, inadequate processes, and unexpected events and implements corrective actions in partnership with Business Controls leadership to address process and control deficiencies.
+ Builds effective relationships with other internal business control groups and the second and third lines of defense (such as Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, and Audit).
+ Collaborates with groups responsible for ensuring adequate information barriers are established, and the Bank's compliance with policies and processes are in place in order to control the flow of certain information.
+ Assists with execution of regulatory change management program to ensure applicable regulatory changes are identified, assessed against business processes, reported, and complied with.
+ Partners with business managers in implementing remediation actions per the Bancorp issues management framework and assists in the coordination of business ownership of processes, risks, controls, and tests.
+ May assist in the coordination for updates to archive systems (e.g., Open Pages, PPM, etc.).
+ May help to conduct RCSA facilitated sessions where risks and controls are rated.
+ May, if applicable, assist in the external change management for credit bureau working with centralized team and Business Controls leadership as build out testing.
+ Works with LOB to identify initial set of inherent risks and controls and identifies applicable governance processes.
+ May assist in the determination of identifying loss events with applicable RCSA risks/processes and coordinate root cause analysis and action plans evaluation with LOB.
+ Partner with support functions or risk experts to identify applicable Enterprise and risk appetite indicators.
+ Collaborate with LOB on threshold evaluation and proposed changes and enter proposed indicators and changes in the GRC tool.
+ Actively participates in issue remediation.
+ Executes on ERM Scenario Analysis risk management program.

**Your key responsibilities**
A Services Manager in FSO EDGE WAM will be responsible for delivering and managing tax compliance and consulting work for clients. The objective is to recognize and identify problem areas and items that need to be addressed or escalated to ensure tax returns, tax research, tax accounting, and tax projects are timely and accurately completed. You will work alongside practice office professional serving clients, based on their time demands, as one team.
**Responsibilities include**
+ Consult with clients and demonstrate professional discretion by appropriately escalating complex tax and client relationship matters to senior management and subject-matter professionals, coordinating efforts, and managing expectations about timing of response and resolution
+ Deliver and manage compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines for client deliverables
+ Ability to lead projects and work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
+ Incumbent has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
+ Manage communications with client tax liaisons, client trust administration teams and client trust officers to gather required information, to share information to support informed decision-making, and obtain instruction or authorization necessary for timely, accurate production of tax information statements, tax returns and related reporting
+ Support effective long-term relationships and manage workflow effectively with our clients
+ Manage engagement deliverables and team resources to achieve timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance services while effectively managing engagement economics

**Responsibilities include**
+ Support new and existing client relationships
+ Provide compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines for client deliverables
+ Prepare or detail review complex financial closings, tax compliance filings and other tax related processes or tasks
+ Compile and/or evaluate moderately complex data, computations, documentation and various tax and accounting technologies
+ Responsible for Service Quality across identified aspects of delivery. Understand opportunity risk in relation to our Scope of Services
