Job Description

**Job Description:** Program Management Advisory and Execution AVP
**Location:** Tampa, FL
The Program Management Advisory and Execution (PMAE) is the only enterprise level resource that supports all business units across the bank to plan, execute and govern complex cross-functional initiatives, programs, and projects. We act as partners to interject project management discipline to work efforts. The team works across silos and moves from topic to topic while continuing to maintain and follow program management rules of governance. The PMAE is an organization consisting of over 70 project management professionals, each with a very robust and diverse background.
The work will vary across engagements but generally will range from regulatory compliance to risk management, to the integration of technology into the business process. PMAE is not a technology-centric project management office, it's work includes the integration of the technology projects into cross-functional business initiatives as part of a larger body of work.
This is a highly matrixed organization where your primary manager will not be providing daily oversight of your actions and project management skills. You will be expected to operate independently, while interacting with your clients and stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. As initiatives, programs, and projects close, you will then be assigned to a new body of work with new sponsors and new stakeholders, while maintaining your primary PMAE supervisory chain.
If you like solving new, challenging, and complex problems, while continually learning new parts of the business and growing your network - this is the perfect role for you. Each PMAE team member needs to be a purpose-led and values driven leader at every level, comfortable with constant change.
What you will be doing:
This is a foundational position for PMAE with an expectation of some prior exposure to PM lifecycle and processes. You will work primarily to support and participate in complex initiatives, programs, and projects through all activities in a project/program life cycle by owning management of core PM processes (i.e., risk/issue management, reporting, plan management.) This position offers opportunity for growth while gaining practical hands-on experience necessary for end-to-end program delivery on large programs.
How you will make an impact:
You will support, challenge, and drive tasks that deliver results of project, program, and initiative objectives. Additionally, you will develop/maintain compliant PM artifacts (dashboard, plans, I/R Logs, etc.), own data quality and ensure output is in alignment with controls environment and identify opportunities to enhance use of centralized tools and simplify processes.
**Responsibilities:**
Support and participate in complex initiatives and all activities in a project/program life cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing associated with projects/programs.
- Own and execute core PM processes; drive individual workstreams; continually improve the process and educate PM team and stakeholders on process requirements and enhancements.
- Drive program risk/assumptions/issues/dependency + change management; maintain program level risk/issue log; ensure timely issue identification, escalation of risks, and actionable remediation solutions; proactively review plan content and changes to aid in identification, impact analysis and mitigation of risks and issues.
- Lead the execution of defined PM processes for program/project.
- Support dependency identification and management.
- Develop progress dashboards at executive level based on analysis of plans and risk.
- Actively maintain project/program plans and drive successful completion of project tasks and/or milestones.
- Manage critical program documentation including governance charts, charters, RACI charts, communication plans, and metrics.
- Leverage Citi PM tools to support effective program delivery; educate PM teams and stakeholders on use of PM tools.
- Ensure compliance with Citi's project policies and standards and maintain compliance repositories.
- Support, challenge and drive program-level progress and status reporting process.
- Own and create reporting cadence to align with management reporting and meeting deliverables.
- Review status reports submitted for relevancy, correctness, and provide challenge to content with the submitter to enable quality reporting.
- Analyze documentation, data and metrics provided to identify risk, performance and quality issues and significant variances and trends and develop reports for senior management.
- Generate metrics as needed (e.g., plans and reporting) to demonstrate progress against objectives.
- Assist in the documentation of meetings and in the tracking and timely resolution of outcomes and follow-up actions.
- Drive accountability and engagement.
- Provide transparency by interfacing with Org PMO, Citi Program Management Council, Internal Audit, Consultants, and other groups outside of PMAE for the gathering and sharing of information.
- Maintain alignment to the approved engagement strategy.

- Own data quality and ensures output is in alignment with controls environment.
- Escalate appropriately, completely and with solution options.
