Essential functions (job duties):
Participate and assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of programs and/or projects
for a School, College and/or Center/Institute at the University. May provide some specialized

Participate in specific program and/or project research or service methodologies and initiatives;
conduct procedural data collection techniques which may include gathering information through a

determine goals, objectives and needs; recommend procedural changes to support operational
activities as needed.
- Evaluate and access program needs; develop and implement actions to facilitate program activities.
Compile data for report preparation; prepare activity reports and summaries; update as necessary.
- Participate in database management activities. Coordinate data entry activities; monitor input of
data; verify accuracy to ensure information is reliable for report generation, synthesis and analysis.
- May provide functional supervision to subordinate volunteer and student support personnel. Train
in appropriate methods and techniques. Develop training materials; conduct training sessions and
individual or group presentations. Monitor subordinate personnel; review activity logs and reports.
- Serve as liaison to various outside agencies, organizations, vendors, study groups or individuals and
University personnel. May conduct on-site visits and interview sessions to establish relationship and
accessibility to specific study groups and individuals.
- Keep abreast of developments in research methodologies and techniques and integrate such in
operational activity or activities of assigned area.

**Summary**
The Brooklyn Community Recovery Center works in service to an individual's long-term recovery, and seeks to establish and maintain community relationships in furtherance of a community recovery vision (i.e. reduce stigma), and toward the mission and goals of the Recovery Community Outreach Center, and those of the agency-at-large. Our Art of Advocacy program is designed to enhance and target the Center's engagement with the recovery community, to increase social capital, improve satisfaction with participant's neighborhood and built environments, and enhance access to care. Our program uses multi-modal artist workshops that include, but are not limited to weaving, wheel and hand pottery, glass blowing, therapeutic horticulture, music, photography, murals, and painting, to engage participants in community building and wellness coaching. Working with other program staff, the administrative assistant supports the planning and execution of artist workshops, wellness coaching, and participation in ongoing artist collaboratives by liaising with artists, vendors, and partner organizations for proposals, contracts, and/or linkages; conduct outreach and enroll participants; and to support the management of logistics, data collection, and record keeping for the program. South Dakota State University (SDSU) is currently seeking a Laboratory Program Assistant with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills to join our Animal Disease Research & Diagnostic Lab (ADRDL). The South Dakota Animal Disease Research & Diagnostic Laboratory is a full service, AAVLD accredited diagnostic laboratory that conducts approximately 500,000 veterinary diagnostic tests a year.
This position is located in Brookings , South Dakota.

Job Responsibilities: To provide laboratory support for the specimen receiving and all diagnostic sections at the ADRDL. The fundamental purpose of this position is to assist program professionals while following established SOP's to track and accession animal samples in support of pathology and ante-mortem testing at ADRDL; decide how best to manage, track, and reflect changes in information in support of the sample submission process; and manage technical activities related to organization of sample submissions, reporting and billing. In performing these duties, this position performs activities that require understanding of ADRDL invoicing procedures. In addition, this position will also answer the phone and direct calls, distribute mail and answer emails.

The Lawrence WIC Program is now seeking a WIC Program Assistant to work with a large team in a very busy office. Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling appointments, screening participants for eligibility, data entry, issuing benefits, and managing client flow. Hybrid schedule available.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
- Follows all protocols and/or regulations for processing applicants/participants for (re)certification, including: verifying identity, income, residency, and participant category; educating participants on their rights and responsibilities, authorized signatures and shoppers, WIC foods, and using benefits at authorized vendors; referring participants to MassHealth, SNAP, TAFDC and other health and human service programs; providing notification for end of certification, missed benefits, and/or ineligibility to receive WIC benefits.
- Oversees benefit issuance for prescribed food prescription, including: re(issuing) food/formula prescription benefits; capturing participant authorized signatures for benefit issuance; and maintaining security of WIC cards.
- Performs routine office duties, including answering telephones; scheduling appointments; data entry; and managing client flow.
- Attends bi-weekly staff meetings and other trainings, conferences, and workshops as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as needed, including quality assurance activities.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and one year of general office experience; experience in a health care or community facility preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Well-organized, systematic approach to work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs of the client population.
- Available to work at least one Saturday a month.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
- Must have a suitable CORI & SORI completed within the first 30 days of employment
