**Job Location & Core Hours:** Los Alamitos Office, M-F 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Job assignments in the greater Los Angeles area will be considered.
**Job Summary:**
KDC Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Project Support Team in an administrative role.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Under the direction of the VP of Construction, administrative projects and tasks are assigned to support the assigned Division Manager(s), Department Manager(s) or Project Manager(s)
+ Performs general administrative duties in an office setting or at the assigned field construction site.
+ Assist with submittals, RFI's, and material ordering
+ Maintains labor reports and compiles/runs other project reports as assigned by the Project Manager
+ Responsible for T&M billings, data entry, and the maintenance of monthly invoices.
+ Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager(s) as needed
**Qualifications:**
+ Administrative experience preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
+ Must be able to work independently or part of a team to complete multiple tasks and to meet project deadlines
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Must be able to multi-task, be detailed oriented, highly organized, and have excellent time-management skills
+ Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication
+ Must be able to work alone or amongst a team to meet project deadlines
+ Must be able to travel throughout Southern CA to work on various field construction sites as needed

**Position Summary**
The Project Support Lead oversees a team of Project Support Specialists within the Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine R&D business unit. This role ensures effective planning, execution, and documentation of technical and project activities with a focus on compliance across project management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and ERP systems. The Lead collaborates cross-functionally to support product development and sustaining engineering initiatives, while mentoring team members and driving process improvements.
The Project Support Lead will assist in the planning and execution of projects under the direction of the project or technical lead. This role will directly manage and mentor Project Support Specialists in these key activities, while self-managing their project work, seeking help when required, and being fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Supervise and mentor a team of support specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Serve as Business Unit primary point of contact and coordinator of the global business process for medical device sustaining engineering projects
- Generate the R&D department monthly sustaining engineering metrics analysis. Data sets may include project dashboards, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards, project gating, and project status updates.
- Create and/or update project charters and project information in coordination with the the assigned project leader and cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and regulatory affairs.
- Provide project-level support for the R&D engineers, including business gating materials, project software and dashboard updates, project documentation, technical writing, meeting minutes and data analysis.
- Coordinate/lead preparation and modification, submission, and workflow approval of Quality Management System (QMS), Design History File (DHF), and Device Master Record (DMR) documentation package(s).
- Access and/or modify information directly from various Teleflex systems such as Planview, Agile PLM, SAP and other database systems.
- Review and/or proof-read product information, labels, and DHF documents to standardize format, edit errors, and improve clarity.
- Mentor and help train other departments in how to access and utilize database systems.
- As required, occasional travel for process improvement or product idea brainstorming events. Coordinate/lead meeting sessions or group exercises. Support the planning and coordination of meeting logistics, both prior to the event and on-site as required.
- Document, organize and present meeting event results and action items. Assist in coordination of follow-up reviews of the results with the various cross functional teams.
- Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex's Code of Ethics and all company policies and procedures.
**Education / Experience Requirements**
- Associates degree required,Bachelors degree preferred.Technical or engineering-related field ideal
- Minimum 6 years of system analyst, data systems, project management or technical project experience preferred
- Proven track record of successful project experience.
- Formal or informal leadership (mentoring, supervising, etc.) experience desired
**Specialized Skills / Other Requirements**
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Tools and other software programs
- Advanced proficiency with data systems required, Agile PLM is preferred
- Ability to manage and mentor project support specialists, project management colleagues, and other professionals
- Experience within a regulated industry, such as medical device or pharmaceutical, is preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates clear communication skills across executive levels, functions, and geographically diverse teams
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of disciplines
- Learns the strengths and interests of the team members to ensure work assignments are most efficiently distributed and managed while challenging support specialists to grow and improve
- Planning, designing, and coordinating the development and implementation of related activities to support changes and improvements to both new and existing products lines
- Implement results successfully through to production release
