Our facility in Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for a Program Planning Manager to join our mission on FBM. This is an exciting leadership opportunity in which you will lead a team of Program Planners at the Space Coast FBM location, in a fast growing and transitional environment.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will.
Provide direction for all planning and scheduling activities, including creating top-level program schedules that integrate hand-off requirements between FBM projects and guiding the team in proposal & program/project development and in the program/project implementation and close out
Perform verification and validation of the total FBM Program and its individual projects
Manage Project/Program problem resolution when required, and escalate necessary items and emerging issues to the management team
Interface with Navy Partner, DCMA, and LM FBM leadership including conducting briefings and leading schedule meetings
Present FBM Program and project metrics and identify trends or impacts
Review Project's SRA's and CDRLs to verify all high and medium risk mitigation tasks are in the IMS. Prepare briefings and status for management and customer reviews
Evaluate planning tools to standardize method for reporting status across FBM projects. Serve as key member to BCB (Baseline Control Board - Finance), ROMBs, What-if exercises, fact finding and internal/external audits (Corporate, Division, Customer)
Ensure compliance with planning documents on new projects are established
Coordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions
Counsel and mentor assigned employees
Provide leadership, direction, inspiration, and assistance to ensure communication & coordination to multi-disciplined teams.
Establish and communicate organization vision and goals that support those of the FBM Planning team
Expected travel for this position will be 10-25%

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the program planning efforts, ensuring the development and execution of comprehensive plans to meet program objectives. **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Program Planning & Control Analyst job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
+ Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support within project controls.
+ Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
+ Oversees the set-up and maintenance of billable contracts in the accounting system (Costpoint) to ensure consistency with the contracts and support of the Program Management's contract performance reporting requirements.
+ Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs for projects.
+ Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis or leads change control process.
+ Calculates and assesses project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, monthly forecasts and reporting.
+ Produces and/or aligns reporting pertaining to the CWBS, manpower, CFSR, integrated master schedule, and integrated program management report.
+ Responsible for earned value management system (EVMS) reporting.
+ Reviews and approves monthly invoices and validate revenue; support accounts receivable (AR) as required during the monthly billing process.
+ Investigates and resolves AR invoice issues as required.
+ Generates reports of revenue, profit, and direct labor projections by contract by person.
+ Reviews and approves coding for purchase requisition and accounts payable invoices as required.
+ Initiates program funding alerts to the subcontracts administrator for all contracts.
+ Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion. Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
+ Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
+ Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports and junior team members.
+ May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
+ Position also may require other accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level.

+ Travel Requirements: Minimal travel, 1 -2 times per year

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related discipline
+ 7 or more years of related experience in performing related financial analysis work
+ Familiarity with financial accounting close process as it related to U.S. GAAP
+ Familiarity with Government cost accounting standards (CAS), as they relate to timekeeping, allowable cost, allocation of cost
+ Excellent business acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
+ Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
+ Advanced Excel skills
+ EVMS expertise
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with CostPoint 8, Cognos, and Cobra is desired but not required
Basic Compensation:
+ The national average salary range for this position is approximately $116,000 to $175,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
