Project Overview:Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction partner on TerraPower's Natrium team. It also features an innovative molten salt storage output, combined, the plant can produce more than 500 MWE. Job Summary:In this role, you will use 2-D/3-D computer-aided design (CAD) to develop designs for Control Systems engineering such as Instrument Installation Drawings, Instrument Locatoion Drawings, control cabinet layouts, etc. You will be required to navigate the 3D model to locate instrumentation, racks, panels, cabinets and other misc. **About the Role**
In this vital leadership role, you will lead a team of controls technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and modify material handling controls systems equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.
**What You'll Do**
+ Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
+ Fix and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix/ Compactlogix PLC platform and RSLogix 5000 software package.
+ Monitor Industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.
+ Act as first-level support for the Control Systems Technician team.
+ Monitor material handling equipment metrics and partner with Controls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficiencies.
+ Perform controls systems assessments to maintain and improve equipment reliability.
+ Partner with Facility Operations leadership, equipment vendors and parts suppliers to plan and coordinate new technology installations; acting as the technical consultant for capital projects inside the facility.
+ Clearly communicate technical issues, project timelines, and product impacts with site leadership, operations and the maintenance teams.
+ Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and the Operations Maintenance team members.
+ Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
**What You'll** **Need**
+ Bachelors Degree with a focus in Electronic Technology or equivalent OR 2+ years of equivalent professional experience
+ Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training.
+ 2+ years of experience with motor controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components).
+ 2+ years of experience with programming HMI components.
+ 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
+ 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
+ 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
+ Experience interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.
+ Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
+ Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Control Systems troubleshooting/ programming.
+ Experience supporting a range of different conveyors and sortation systems.
+ Project Management experience with the ability to train others.
+ Experience with robotic maintenance.
+ Experience with AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLC's and PLC components.
+ Experience with SCADA systems and KPI's.

The minimum salary for the Control Systems Lead position is $92,289.60 annually (or $4.37 per hour) and the maximum salary for the Control Systems Lead position is 102,544.00 annually (or 49.30 per hour). The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
