Are you passionate about automation and control systems? AWS/CES is hiring PLC Programmers at both entry-level and senior levels to support a leading global manufacturer in Auburn Hills, MI.
What You'll Do:
- Program and debug PLC logic (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron)
- Integrate smart devices (cameras, nut runners, drives)
- Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades during build, tryout, and installation phases
- Collect and manage data per customer requirements
- Document all programming changes accurately
- Train end-users on PLC systems
- Travel to customer sites (domestic/international) as needed
Entry-Level Candidates:
- Recent grads in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Robotic Studies
- Strong interest in PLC programming and hands-on automation experience through labs/internships
- Willingness to learn and travel
- 5+ years of experience with PLC design, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Skilled in Rockwell, Siemens, and/or Omron platforms
- Experience integrating pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic automated systems
- Comfortable with travel and flexible work schedules to meet production timelines
