The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Associate Software Engineer-Developer** to join the CITS Software team located at **Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK** . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The Software Engineer will perform as part of a high-performing team and contribute to the development and delivery of innovative software solutions in an agile software development environment interfacing with internal and external stakeholders; contributing to the design and development of The Central Integrated Test System (CITS). Team develops software in support of the B-1 Bomber. The CITS software team develops and maintains the Operational Flight Programming (OFP) software and other real-time embedded software products that fulfill the mission of the B-1. The team performs development using up to date coding standards, the agile methodology, Jira, Git, and Gitlab. The Software Engineer will collaborate with a diverse engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software used to monitor and test the B-1.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Assists with the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
+ Supporting software development on agile teams which are tasked with integrating/implementing solutions onto a platform
+ Developing high fidelity simulation and environment software and tool sets to enable rapid development, test, and deployment of high-quality software solutions for the war-fighter, and many others
+ Uses analytical problem-solving skills to resolve problems for the company and suppliers
+ Uses engineering skills to deliver improved weapon system capabilities to our customers
+ Applies engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools

As a developer on this dynamic program; you will bring your software development experience and perspective to work within a multi disciplined agile team in designing, developing, and maintaining next generation mission management applications.
We'll look to you to help develop, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud native microservices and a user interface (UI) for a data-rich application with complex user workflows.
