The Director Software Engineering role is a combination of hands-on iterative software development and coaching people - to be successful, we are looking for someone that enjoys both to support building great software that is valuable and that people love to use. **Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

This is a STEM software engineering intern position with Leidos' Transportation Solutions business unit. Specifically, you will be working on teams responsible for developing and maintaining FAA air traffic control software. The environment is primarily Java and Python languages on a UNIX/Linux platform. Seeking applicants with Computer Science/Software Engineering background and interest. Design, develop, document, test and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems. Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Java, Python, and multi-threaded programming or equivalent development and debugging environment beneficial. Primary Responsibilities
In this position, you will work with a team of software developers, system integrators and system engineers supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Future Flight Services Program. Specific responsibilities include:
+ Developing and maintaining FAA air traffic control / flight services software (primarily using Java and Python) on a UNIX/Linux platform.
