What You Will Do:
The CT/Diagnostic Radiologic Tech produces high quality, diagnostic CT scans on patients of all ages demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and operating CT systems such as Power Injectors, PACS and other computer software according to established procedures. Operates radiographic equipment for diagnostic purposes as directed; perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Shall provide a patient experience focused on service excellence and safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiological Technology
- Maintain current Radiographer license issued by the State of Wisconsin, provide proof of current registry in CT if applicable. If no prior CT experience exists CT registry/ boards will be acquired within two years of hire Candidates with prior CT experience who have not obtained their boards will obtain CT boards within one year of hire
- Maintains all necessary continuing education requirements for the ARRT
- Maintains certification in BLS CPR Certification, and Registered Technologist (RT) registration with CT certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Sound understanding of anatomical anatomy and physiology
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire
- Displays a positive attitude about themselves, work and staff

Job Summary
The telephone triage nurse serves as a clinical contact for patients and consumers of healthcare with medical questions or seeking medical advice via telephone or other communication methods. As a critical member of the high performing Patient Access team, the telephone triage nurse provides clinical assessment to facilitate next steps in the patient's care. They are vital to improving patient care outcomes using a variety of methods including telephone triage, appointment scheduling, referrals for clinical symptoms to care team setting, and population health outreach responsibilities. The nurse accepts incoming patient calls and assists each patient appropriately, based on their individual care needs. This role continuously provides world class customer service in a high volume call setting.
Responsibilities
Population Health Management: Supports system initiatives for population health management and the care delivery of specific patient populations through telephone triage, chart review and outreach to patients in need of care.
Provides clinical assessment and review of documentation for outreach to existing or ProHealth attributed patients to schedule care that is deemed clinically appropriate.
Telephone Triage Management: Offers call center RN triage or Assessment & Referral Triage when patient communicates symptoms, using evidence-based protocols for Nurse Triage.
Handles emergent calls based on information provided by caller and department protocol.
Responsible for facilitating professional verbal and written communication.
Has the ability to make patient care decisions based on the urgency of the patient needs using safe and effective telephone advice, care management and directions for the appropriate level of care required.
Is able to direct patient to most appropriate level of care facility.(i.e. office visit vs. urgent care vs. emergency room).
Responsible for a high level of proficiency in handling critical calls ensuring a positive care outcome and patient experience.
Appointment Scheduling: Based on triage disposition, accurately schedules provider, nurse, lab, resource, service line, and education/ support groups using schedule templates as needed.
Matches patient needs to available appointments, while following department, service line and provider specific protocols, schedule templates and patient preferences.
Makes decisions about joint visits based on patient risk and triage disposition.
Provides support to patients by answering clinical questions and resolving urgent and non-urgent clinical questions while scheduling appointments.
Assists with analyzing customer problems in order to ensure the best outcomes and the highest patient satisfaction.
Provides follow-up with customers as necessary in order to provide closure and an outstanding customer experience.
General Responsibilities: Serves as the first point of contact for patients calling with medical questions or seeking medical advice and ensures their calls are being answered in a friendly, personal, professional and timely manner.
Provides patients and consumers with evidence-based information about any questions or concerns they might have in regards to their health care experience.
Accurately connects patients to other services as needed/anticipated (social services, financial/billing services, clinical services, etc.).
Provides concise documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and any other communication methods and routes to appropriate care team members.
Possesses and demonstrates sound clinical, organizational and communication skills.
A subject matter expert that utilizes critical thinking and decision making skills to recognize and align patient reported symptoms with established protocols and assign acuity levels to ensure a high quality, safe and timely disposition of each patient interaction.
Evaluates the patient or patient designee's understanding of instructions using teach-back methodology and conveys related information to the appropriate care teams via EMR documentation, telephone or other modern means of communication.
Demonstrates ability to effectively use all systems including but not limited to the EMR (Electronic Medical Record), Transportation Services, Microsoft Outlook, organization's intranet (iNet), Virtual and Telephonic Interpretive Services, Credit Card Banking system.

Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital (OMH) Birthing Center is a Level 1 community hospital unit with 12 LDRP's. The unit cares for a variety of populations, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, GYN, Pediatrics, and transitional newborn care in our Special Care Nursery. We see approximately 900 patients annually. In additional to providing specialty services for women and children of all ages, the department also provides other services, such as, but not limited to, lactation and resolve through sharing (RTS) perinatal loss support. OMH Birthing Center has over 30 staff members working as Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Health Unit Clerks.
Hours: This .9 FTE commits to 36 hours per week in three 12-hour day shifts per week. This is not a seasonal or temporary position.

The unit is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and support staff, offering services such as transport, lactation consultation, and post-discharge follow-up clinics.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for the nature and quality of nursing care of critically ill neonates. Under the direction of a physician the NNP manages neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care. The NNP is involved with the education of nursing staff, residents and students.
- Maintains credentials with procedural privileges through the medical staff offices at WMH and OMH.
- Maintains Neonatal NCC certification
- Participates in multidisciplinary mortality and morbidity rounds
- Participates and coordinates as needed in research activities within the NICU.
- Provides procedural support to the ED for newborn/infant code blue.
- Displays a positive attitude about themselves, work and staff.
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
- Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
- Possesses computer skills.
- BLS and NRP upon hire
- Master Degree required
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license with the State of WI
- NICU experience preferred

Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit is a 16 bed, "blended" unit which includes medical surgical intensive care beds and intermediate care beds.
Schedule Details: This .9 FTE commits to 36 hours per week, 12 hour day shifts of . Required to work every other weekend and alternating holidays. This position has a set block schedule. This is not a seasonal/ temporary position.
What You Will Do:
The clinical nurse is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families. Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practices are guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations. These nurses demonstrate mastery of most technical skills, and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/campuses as required by staffing matrices. These nurses also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.
What You Will Need:
* Associates degree of nursing is required. Preferred education level is a bachelor's degree
* Registered Nurse (RN), Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain at time of hire
* Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or ability to obtain during orietation
