Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare, maintain & submit monthly P&C budget variance analyses and forecasts using SAP.
- Develop project plans & specific cash flows based on work scope.
- Create, release & maintain project WBS / Power Plant structure in SAP.
- Coordinate & maintain monthly cost data & reports in Excel or Access.
- Update project forecasts or other requested project financial / status reports.
- Prepare URB Documentation (Utility Review Board) (PCRs, PP slides, waterfalls, etc) for project cash flow approvals.
- Develop, maintain, update and monitor project schedules and work plans in accordance with the Scheduling Procedure.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain financial, schedule, estimate, budget, resource, procurement, risk and other data within Primavera P6. (Corporate Standard Scheduling Tool).
- Provide monthly closeout of projects in SAP.
- Provide monthly updates to NEDLI.(New equipment database Long Island).
- Provide monthly updates to the CWIP (Construction work in progress) aging reports to meet department and corporate deliverables and deadlines.
- Provide storm restoration support as required by the Emergency Restoration Organization.
Job Specific Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Scheduling, Engineering, Business Financials, Construction or Project Management; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in scheduling, engineering, business financials, construction or project management.
- Must have strong experience with relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
- Must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface and communicate with people at all levels and across organizations.
- Must demonstrate personal accountability and excellent organizational skills to deliver performance excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in reading, interpreting, and managing project and program schedules.
- Basic knowledge and experience with electric transmission and distribution systems.
- Knowledge of LIPAs (Long Island Power Authority) business operations, policies, and practices.
- SAP experience.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Capital Projects Analyst performs cost analysis, budgets and forecasts related to New Generation projects in all stages of development or execution. Creates and maintains financial and business models. Compiles performance information related to monthly project cost for inclusion in reports. Provides analytical expertise to support project and portfolio management.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds and maintains cost models and performs scenario analysis for assigned projects.

Prepares cash flow estimates in support of monthly present estimate (PE) process.

Analyzes cost and schedule impacts of project scope changes and trends. Prepares and delivers presentations of numerical analysis.

Interfaces with internal and external project team (s) as necessary for cost control monitoring, analysis, and reporting. Provides day-to-day detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets and actuals. Updates and maintains project budgets and cost information. Provides accurate financial, cost reporting, trending analysis and recommends corrective actions.

Provides Cost Management support through identification of gaps and opportunities. Recommends development or modification of cost engineering data standards.

Tracks & trends monthly spend to develop a view on earned value and provide predictability when assessing the project forecast.

Actively performs Forensics Analysis on all aspects of project spend and forecast to assure budget adherence.

Utilizes COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform analyses, interpret the output and develop presentations from the data set (where applicable).

Job Summary
The PCA will be responsible for all financial touchpoints in a project's lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to: Assisting the proposal team with pricing activities, developing appropriate RFP responses, and supporting presentation materials. On awarded and internal programs, working cross-departmental to determine anticipated labor hours, materials, equipment, subcontractors, travel, etc. required to complete a program, and monitoring throughout the duration of the program. The pay scale for this position is $73,960/year - $105,761/year. The pay scale information is a general guideline only. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Capital Projects Analyst performs cost analysis, budgets and forecasts related to New Generation projects in all stages of development or execution. Creates and maintains financial and business models. Compiles performance information related to monthly project cost for inclusion in reports. Provides analytical expertise to support project and portfolio management.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds and maintains cost models and performs scenario analysis for assigned projects.

Prepares cash flow estimates in support of monthly present estimate (PE) process.

Analyzes cost and schedule impacts of project scope changes and trends. Prepares and delivers presentations of numerical analysis.

Interfaces with internal and external project team (s) as necessary for cost control monitoring, analysis, and reporting. Provides day-to-day detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets and actuals. Updates and maintains project budgets and cost information. Provides accurate financial, cost reporting, trending analysis and recommends corrective actions.

Provides Cost Management support through identification of gaps and opportunities. Recommends development or modification of cost engineering data standards.

Tracks & trends monthly spend to develop a view on earned value and provide predictability when assessing the project forecast.

Actively performs Forensics Analysis on all aspects of project spend and forecast to assure budget adherence.

Utilizes COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform analyses, interpret the output and develop presentations from the data set (where applicable).

Demonstrates very good documentation, technical writing, and organization skills to effectively control documents availability and readiness for ROD requirements, prudency review, deposition hearings, filing for PSC, Change Order Process and or other legal requirements. Job SummaryThe PCA will be responsible for all financial touchpoints in a project's lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to: Assisting the proposal team with pricing activities, developing appropriate RFP responses, and supporting presentation materials.
