ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Engineer to support our team in the Southern Region. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of our capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects by providing critical coordination and administrative support. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with a meticulous approach to documentation, scheduling, and communication to support project teams from inception to completion.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
• Coordinate all aspects of project mobilization and site setup, including designing and maintaining detailed batch plant layouts in AutoCAD.
• Assist in developing comprehensive scopes of work for vendors and third-party contractors.
• Provide support for major CAPEX projects by assisting with scheduling and tracking project milestones.
• Serve as a key point of contact to coordinate with our RMX (Ready-Mix) division, discussing project progress and resource needs on a bi-weekly basis.Technical & Documentation Management
• Maintain a complete Engineering Documentation Folder, including all electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil drawings, as well as lift plans and method statements for working at heights and confined spaces.
• Conduct root cause analysis for plant failures and maintain records of findings and resolutions.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in documenting cost-savings projects related to third-party services.
• Assist with digital transformation initiatives, including maintaining records for predictive maintenance (e.g., vibration charts) and tracking data from digital tools.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred : Engineering
Required Work Experience: Autocad, Google Workspace / Micorsoft Office

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
• Coordinate all aspects of project mobilization and site setup, including designing and maintaining detailed batch plant layouts in AutoCAD.
• Assist in developing comprehensive scopes of work for vendors and third-party contractors.
• Provide support for major CAPEX projects by assisting with scheduling and tracking project milestones.
• Serve as a key point of contact to coordinate with our RMX (Ready-Mix) division, discussing project progress and resource needs on a bi-weekly basis.Technical & Documentation Management
• Maintain a complete Engineering Documentation Folder, including all electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil drawings, as well as lift plans and method statements for working at heights and confined spaces.
• Conduct root cause analysis for plant failures and maintain records of findings and resolutions.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in documenting cost-savings projects related to third-party services.
• Assist with digital transformation initiatives, including maintaining records for predictive maintenance (e.g., vibration charts) and tracking data from digital tools.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

This is an exciting opportunity to support national security by delivering premier IT services for a mission-focused program. The Project Manager will lead and support customers in consolidating and relocating systems to various Agency Data Centers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attend and run meetings: Collaboration with customers and service teams (Deployments, Engineering, Networks, etc.) to discuss Install, Move, Removal of equipment within Government Data Centers
- Maintain tracking Spreadsheets and Generate Workbooks (Excel) to individually report of all Systems moving out of Government spaces to include Schedule/Timeline and Networks Connectivity Dependencies and Efforts
- Service Now (SNOW) Ticketing System - tracking Service Teams work efforts (CHTASKs) to ensure tickets/efforts progress forward from conception to closure
- Submit SNOW and PSC Tickets, as needed for Customers
- Utilize Access database to manage and store all equipment within the organization
- Acquire Preliminary Engineering Documentation from Customers/System Owners for Engineering Review
- Report to the Customer Management Bi-Weekly on Room Closure progress / delays
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: an additional 4 years of program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with the Federal Government might be substituted for a degree.
- 9+ years of experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, deliverables tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting for projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading customer meetings
- Experience with ServiceNOW and/or JIRA or similar ticketing/tracking databases
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Specifically Excel, Word, Access)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agency Data Center procedures
