**Job Description**
**AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Transportation Planning Engineer/Project Manager for immediate employment in Texas. This position gives you the opportunity to engage in a variety of planning work that may include NEPA/SEPA, multimodal planning, sustainability, advanced transportation planning, etc.**

+ **AICP or PE Certification is required.**

**Description**
The Distribution Planning Project Manager will utilize extensive knowledge in electrical distribution planning and the application of grid technologies to improve grid performance and ready the grid for future challenges represented by distributed generation and electrification. The project manager will support a broad range of studies and other consulting services to support electricity distribution utilities to make decisions backed by business and engineering analysis, such as load flow, transfer capability, system impact studies, generation interconnection, reliability planning, DER, and electrification impact consulting, and hosting capacity studies. The project manager will be required to work with numerous entities in the industry, including investor-owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, and electric cooperatives. This project manager will be a seller-doer, conducting sales and marketing activities and executing projects. The project manager will spend time directly engaged with clients to identify new work, prepare proposals, establish study objectives, formulate project approaches, and manage/oversee a team of consultants/engineers to meet the study objectives and provide the client with useful and actionable deliverables.
Responsibilities:
The project manager will be responsible for, and manage, all aspects of projects from business development, scope and fee development, staffing plan development, project oversight and execution, quality management, and financial performance responsibilities. Pay Range: This job can be performed in Colorado, and Illinois with a Pay Range of $62,500.80 - $103,126.32

SUMMARY
Responsible for managing one or more aviation projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule and budget adherence in accordance with the written project documents and established policies and procedures. Project Managers will be responsible for projects from Business Case through Closeout.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Administer one or more projects, to include responsibility for budget, schedule and quality adherence and performance, in accordance with the contract documents and established procedures.
+ Oversee all design and construction support activities for each assigned project.
+ Oversee the design consultants to ensure design projects stay on schedule and on budget.

+ Assist DFW-DCC as requested in the development of RFQ's and RFP's and provide support as requested during the procurement process.
+ Lead (or approve) the negotiation of design and construction phase services, consultant fees and change orders, provide documentation and recommend acceptance by DFW-DCC.
+ Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are successful and in line with DFW goals and objectives.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW's AOA movement area.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Civil PE license preferred but not required.
