The LPI Electrical Construction Project and Site Manager is responsible for supporting industrial electrical construction and maintaining a good business relationship with customers to build a healthy project backlog. This position is also responsible for overseeing both business and technical review, coordination, supervision, and of all aspects of construction project management. This includes managing resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. This role ensures the successful delivery of large-scale projects in advanced industries such as battery manufacturing and semiconductors.
Project Control Management
Develops, monitors, and updates integrated project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred)
- Performs cost control, forecasting, and earned value analysis (EVA)
- Analyzes schedule delays and prepares mitigation plans
- Tracks procurement and subcontractor deliverables aligned with construction milestones
- Prepares periodic progress and performance reports for senior management and clients
Site Management
Supervises daily field operations and ensures work is performed safely, on time, and within budget
- Leads coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews
- Enforces adherence to drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA, local AHJ)
- Manages inspections, testing, RFIs, and change management on-site
- Maintains all site documentation including daily logs, safety records, and quality reports
Cross-functional Collaboration
Acts as a central point of contact between engineering, construction teams, and the client
- Leads weekly coordination meetings and interface with design and procurement stakeholders
- Proactively resolves field issues to prevent delays and cost overruns
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Ten (10) years of experience in construction, including both project control and field supervision
- Experience in at least three (3) Hook-Up projects for battery or semiconductor facilities.
- Strong experience in CR (Clean Room) and DR (Dry Room) construction
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Proven track record managing construction projects in advanced industries such as battery manufacturing or semiconductor plants
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, project planning, and construction safety practices
- Proficiency in scheduling and project control tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced project environments
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

**Job Summary/Purpose**
+ Provides direct oversight, coaching and support to Project Controls Specialist throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Integrates with and supports Project Management team as needed to ensure successful execution of assigned projects.
+ Ensures comprehensive project cost, schedule, scope, and risk controls are implemented on Entergy projects and helps ensure projects have reliable cost and schedule estimates and achieve business goals on time and to budget.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
1. Implements all Project Management Standards in the area of cost, schedule, scope, WBS, and risk and issues management for assigned projects.
2. Performs rigorous and independent project assessments of projects within Entergy's project portfolio to ensure compliance with Entergy's SGP and project management standards; serves as a SGP Gate Reviewer.
3. Conducts training on the Entergy SGP, project management standards/implementation guides and various project controls disciplines, such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA)
4. Assists in the performance of analysis, optimization, and reporting on Entergy project portfolio including assessments of risk associated with completing planned scopes of work according to multi-year budget plans.
5. Works with Cost Analysts assigned to projects to prepare and maintain the required cost reports and forecasts.

11. Collaborates with the project manager and other project team members to identify, characterize and document project risks in a risk register and develops mitigation plans in accordance with the Standards.

+ Reviews weekly construction management cost reports generated by the resident engineer and reconciles with current contractual documents

+ Reviews cost proposals from contractor to verify basis of estimated cost, including pricing structure, level of effort, material pricing, and associated direct/indirect costs.

**Responsibilities**
This position will report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with input from the lead Project Controls Manager in the region. This individual will be in the middle of the action, working directly on our project sites and closely collaborating with our project team and trade partners.
**Project Accounting & Administration**
+ Compiling owner requisition
+ Internal audit finding resolution
+ Subcontractor requisition and accounts payable processing
+ Consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring
+ Management of field payroll
+ Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review and readiness
+ Lien waiver and insurance administration
+ Small Business Tracking and Reporting
**Project Finance**
+ Support monthly project financial forecast
+ Prepare monthly cost reports
+ Key performance indicator monitoring
+ Process innovation and improvement
+ Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting
+ Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation
+ Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
+ Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
+ Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
+ Facilitate project meetings to successfully coordinate work activity
+ Lead, train, and develop project team members
+ Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues
+ Lead project close-out of project, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors
+ Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms
+ Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project
+ Drive a culture of safety on the project site
+ Support the company's acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations
+ Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields or similar relevant work experience
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

**Preferred Qualifications**

**The Physical Side of the Role:** Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, you'll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required.
**Your Work Environment:** Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.

project controls / project management team on a major program. This is an Office-based role located in San Diego, CA.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Invoice preparation and submittal, including subcontract management and billing reconciliation.
+ Project Management Methodology - progress reporting, risk and issue tracking and resolution, project resource planning, and schedule review.
+ Business Process Modeling - business performance management, organizational design, and business risk management capabilities to formulate pragmatic, forward facing, actionable business transformation plans.
+ Requires knowledge of structured analysis, object analysis and business process improvement methodologies with demonstrated experience using methodologies to successful operational results.
