Keep the owner advised of project status. Prepare and distribute company project update reports for owner’s use and reference.
- Study and become completely familiar with contract documents, project drawings, specifications, schedule, and other project requirements including mechanical and electrical scopes. Be certain all members of project team are equally familiar.
- Solve problems on assigned projects which relate to personnel, manpower, union disputes, claims, incorrect work, schedule, etc. Keep senior management advise and seek advice from peers. Assist the project team in correcting work deficiencies.
- Inform the project executive or vice president in charge of any significant changes in the work. Quantifying, monitoring, and pursuing of change order or extra work order items are your direct responsibility. Review and approve all change orders (owners and subcontractors) for execution by the Vice President in charge.
- Coordinate, cooperate, and assist subcontractors, suppliers, and other prime trades. Maintain a good working relationship with all subcontract Trades. Remember – we need their help and cooperation to timely complete projects to maintain their best pricing and to remain competitive.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent education required.
· Vocational and/or college degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field strongly preferred.

Position Purpose : Provides person-centered intake, assessment, and case management services to individuals in need of rental supplements provided by Erie County Department of Social Services (ECDSS) and manages an assigned caseload of 40 program participants. The RSC is responsible for processing ECDSS supplement applications and document collection from clients and their perspective Landlords. Assistance with goal setting, budgeting and apartment searches are required. All home and field visits are reimbursable by mileage.
Program/Service Delivery, Quality, and Growth :

The Project Manager/Estimator responsibilities will include successfully managing projects from start to finish by ensuring all submittals, procedures, and QA documents are produced according to the initial schedule. They will ensure that all drawings are 100% accurate before submitting them to our customers. They will also review all final drawings before the start of fabrication to ensure that there are no errors and that the drawings are practical enough to ensure a successful build-out in the shop. They will also be responsible for completing proposals and bids prepared by our engineering department on time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strong drawing comprehension.
Examines engineering drawings of water control engineering, assemblies, and fabrications to
detect errors in design documents: Compares figures and lines on production drawing or
diagram with production layout, examining angles, dimensions, bend allowances, and
tolerances for accuracy.
Determines the practicality of design, material selection, available tooling, and fabrication process,
applying drafting and manufacturing methods knowledge.
Confers with design personnel to resolve drawing and design discrepancies.
Manage and quote multiple projects at a time, responsible for quotes and bid requirements
Always strive to maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
Specializing in checking specific types of designs, such as mechanical assemblies.
Study and review product pricing, and adjust or modify pricing according to current trends.
Assist General Manager and Foreman in resolving customer problems, complaints, etc.
Liaise between the shop, the foreman, the quality department, and the engineering department to resolve project issues.
Prepare necessary customs forms, as required, for shipping goods through international
borders.
Perform other duties as may be required by the General Manager.
Meet company budgets and schedules as needed.
Purchase control panels and review panel design to ensure conformance with specifications.
Prioritize purchasing based on lead times and project schedule requirements.
Reliability and Attendance – Begin work on time and adhere to work hours and schedules.
Work overtime when required to meet schedules and deadlines.
Assist engineers with bidding (pricing materials, machining, and transportation).
Knowledge of:
o Drafting practices
o Fabrication and manufacturing practices, including methods of cutting, forming, and
machining
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.
An associate's Degree in drafting is , or an engineering degree.

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Steel Project Manager to oversee projects from contract award through final installation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of structural and miscellaneous steel projects, including stairs, railings, catwalks, platforms, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, detailers, fabrication teams, and field crews.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Review project drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with scope and deliverables.
