**Position Description:**
The Project Manager (PM) is the company's "management representative" to the various stakeholders on the project (e.g., owner, design team, trade partner management, AHJs, etc.) and is responsible for the safe completion of their projects within budget, on schedule, to the company's quality standards and to the customer's satisfaction. The PM has the authority to take the required actions to achieve these objectives, and to ensure all project activities are consistent with contract documents and the company's policies.
The PM and PS work as a complementary team to plan and build the project. The PM's first responsibility is to support the effectiveness of the PS and the project staff. Generally, the PM will concentrate on long-term planning, scheduling and the identification and resolution of possible "roadblocks" and "pitfalls" which could have an impact on the project. The PM is responsible for ensuring that all logistical support is completed in a timely manner so that the PS can concentrate on the daily and weekly direction of the company's resources and coordination of trade partners.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and financial performance of multiple concurrent electrical construction projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support and lead business development sales activities and client interface by approaching new and existing facilities and organizations promoting JTI’s expertise and offer our various engineering, design, and construction services.
- Consistently monitor and evaluate quality, project completion and budget adherence by walking the jobsite, interacting with the customer, and reviewing and inspecting work product and output of JTI employees and subcontractors.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a group of 5-20 total reports.
- Responsible for work assignments, hiring, promotions and performance appraisals
- Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes being used to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
- Develop the organization to achieve excellence through continuous improvement; support lesson learned activity and implement identified initiatives.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager with strong organizational and leadership skills who is also interested in expanding into project estimating responsibilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage active drywall projects while being mentored and developed into a dual role that includes estimating future work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, driven, and eager to grow their expertise in both project management and construction estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead drywall projects from planning to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to anticipate challenges and provide solutions.
- Support bid preparation by assisting in takeoffs, pricing, and proposal development.
- Track job costs, monitor progress, and provide regular project reports to leadership.
- Collaborate with senior estimators to gain hands-on experience in cost estimating.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, value engineering, and cost efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, drywall experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with estimating tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, STACK, or similar) a plus.
- Strong blueprint reading and technical knowledge of drywall materials and installation methods.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510/500, PMP, or related certifications are a plus.

Your Role:
- Project Management - manage teams of engineers and scientists while keeping within the scope, schedule, and budget constraints on large, complex, and impactful projects. This includes supervising, planning, designing, prioritizing, and providing PM expertise for projects focused on stormwater quality, GI, and LID. Provide exceptional quality assurance and quality control on client deliverables.
- Technical Project Lead - lead stormwater infrastructure design development, ensuring design disciplines work collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively and comply with regulatory requirements. You will prepare feasibility studies, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical documents, and contracts.
- Business Development - capitalize on our substantial existing on-call contracts with several major clients in throughout Florida to identify and target opportunities. This includes building internal and external teams that can effectively compete, win, and perform work. Participate in strategic marketing discussions and lead proposal development.
- Manage Teams - build and manage project teams and mentor mid-level and/or junior engineers and scientists
- Bachelor's degree (Master's a plus) in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Registered PE in Florida
- 8+ years of progressive experience conducting flood studies (concept through implementation) and analysis of stormwater/water resources projects for municipalities in Florida. Work in other regions of the country a plus.
- Experience as Engineer of Record for the construction of stormwater/water resources projects
- Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in the preparation of construction, drawings, details, specifications, calculations, and engineers estimate of probable construction costs.
- Working knowledge of water quality regulations and the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program
- Project management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
