Key Responsibilities

Experience working with remote or distributed teams.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.

Job Summary: Leads, directs and coordinates the overall management of assigned projects.   • Reviews, monitors, and manages project budget, construction costs, change management, and other financials
  • In partnership with superintendent, establish key project milestones through effective schedule management
  • Ensures full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs
  • Leads GH Phipps' QA/QC program and supports it through consistent focus on quality control
  • Completes closeout efforts in timely manner, properly archives project information per company procedure
  • Proactively manages disputes and claims to ensure timely and fair issue resolution
  • Ensures safe work environment by modeling safe work behaviors, supporting and communicating safe work standards/practices and holding all internal and external project team members accountable for compliance
  • Mentors and trains direct reports through regular communication
  • Develops competencies and skill sets via active engagement in performance management process, employee development and problem solving
  • Travels to jobsites, meetings and client locations as needed in support of employees, clients, project team, etc.
  • Assists with miscellaneous department duties and team initiatives as needed
  • Participates in business and industry associations and opportunities to drive public awareness of our brand
  • Actively develops and maintains positive relationships with key past and present clients, architects, and developers
  • Consistently brings in leads and new opportunities from existing clients where possible

Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to the construction team and assumes overall responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects within allotted time and budget. Coordinates work efforts during preconstruction, estimating, contract buyout, construction and closeout phases of the project. A minimum of seven (7) years of general commercial construction experience that includes market sectors of K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare and general commercial construction.

Senior Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to the construction team and assumes overall responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects within allotted time and budget. Additional duties include cost forecasting, owner change order preparation and negotiation and owner/subcontractor management. A minimum of ten (10) years of general commercial construction experience that includes large scale projects ranging from $40 million to $00 million in market sectors of K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare and general commercial construction.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management or related field required.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of seven (7) years of general commercial construction experience required

SKILLS
  • Proficient in CMiC and Procore
  • Proficient in Bluebeam
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Navisworks, Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to read project schedules in Primavera P6
SALARY RANGE : 110,000 - 175,000 annually; actual salary based on experience and qualifications.

Enforce is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager to ensure cloud computing customers receive a return on their application investment. The Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager sets direction on all stages of the implementation life-cycle, including gathering client requirements, configuration, multiple complex testing approaches, and application deployment. Throughout the project, you are working closing with project sponsors and practice managers to ensure customer expectations are met and the projects deploy on-time and on-budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy implementation project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and optimize return on investment
  • Manage all aspects of the implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training, and full deployment
  • Document/validate client business requirements
  • Conduct consulting sessions to advise clients through the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investment and document with meeting minutes
  • Conduct internal project meetings
  • Provide clients with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
  • Conduct weekly status calls with Customers regarding their project progress
  • Conduct bi-weekly sponsor calls with client executives to review the project plan and status at a high level
  • Track all deliverable items for a project and relay status of action items on weekly status calls
  • Work with clients to implement Organizational Readiness best practices in preparation for roll-out
  • Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external clients, and other third parties as needed to ensure the successful delivery
  • Responsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of employee data

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related field is required
  • 3-5 years experience in Software Implementation
  • 1-2 years of software implementation project management experience is preferred
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing environment, including experience with an HRIS system is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with change management is an asset
  • Proven experience working with large amounts of data (i.e. facts, figures, number crunching, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze data and determine conclusions
  • Demonstrated critical thinking through reviewing numbers, trends, and data yielding conclusions based on findings
  • Attention to detail - Must be vigilant in analysis to come to correct conclusions
  • Superior math skills
  • High level of integrity working with highly confidential client and customer data
  • Experience in business process mapping
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated familiarity in relational databases including SQL & XML

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Job Summary

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of assigned projects, focusing on scope, schedule, and budget. The PM provides daily leadership to the project team and reinforces the authority of the Design Leader and Document Team Leader to achieve project goals. Regularly reports to the Managing Director to maintain up-to-date information for decision-making.

The responsibilities and project size will increase for the Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) role.

Essential Functions

Senior Project Manager (10+ years experience):

  • Licensure preferred but not required.
  • Coordinates all project efforts to ensure effective execution, prepares strategic plans, and serves as the primary client liaison.
  • Estimates scope of work and oversees less experienced project managers.
  • Handles the most complex projects of the largest magnitude.
  • Actively manages client budgets, schedules, programs, communications, and documentation.
  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of less experienced project managers.
  • May act in a team leader capacity in the absence of the manager.

Project Manager (8+ years experience):

  • Licensure preferred but not required.
  • Manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work.
  • Full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects.
  • Prepares strategic plans for project success.
  • Acts as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion to the client's satisfaction.
  • Actively manages client budgets, schedules, programs, communications, and documentation.
  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities

Project Definition:

  • Gather leadership to define the project.
  • Work with PIC to set project budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Prepare, collect, and consolidate information into Project Journal.
  • Complete Client Agreement.

Project Planning:

  • Prepare project schedule/plan establish processes, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Identify resources/staffing for each phase or task and duration.
  • Develop baseline Project Journal incorporating schedule, staffing, and projections.
  • Complete consultant agreements.

Project Execution:

  • Provide day-to-day project leadership/mentoring.
  • Conduct project initiation meetings.
  • Maintain regular project communication (hold regular team discussions/meetings and distribute and file notes).
  • Serve as primary point of communication between client and Project Team.
  • Support the team leadership roles of Design Leader and Document Team Leader to ensure that design and documentation efforts support the overall project plan (scope, schedule, and budget).
  • Ensure all project team members are aware of their project roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain project plan (hours budgeted and resources needed), and communicate adjustments and needs for staffing to Managing Director at weekly staffing meetings.
  • Manage consultant performance and adherence to agreements.
  • Periodically review project documents and include quality assurance review processes into the project plan.
  • Remain an active team leader and contributor throughout the construction contract administration phase.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly invoicing consistent with work performed.
  • Monitor dollars/hours spent to ensure cost of project conforms to project financial parameters.
  • Keep team members aware of the project planned hours vs. actual hours spent and discuss deviations with the team promptly.
  • Track, document, and invoice for additional services.
  • Monthly update of billing projections, AR, schedule, and project performance.
  • Implement plans for the correction of performance.
  • Act on late payments and involve PIC when payment issues become chronic.

Project Summarizing:

  • Assemble and distribute required project closeout data.
  • Complete and update project data for use by Marketing in future pursuits.
  • Conduct client and internal lessons learned sessions. Review findings with Project Team and Managing Director. Summarize findings in Project Journal.
  • File a copy of the completed Project Journal in the designated folder.

General:

  • Prepare and present monthly reports on project progress and performance.
  • Monitor potential projects and coordinate with Market Sector Leaders to exchange information.
  • Promote new business opportunities by cultivating existing clients and new client leads.
  • Participate in the proposal/interview process with potential clients to secure new business opportunities.
  • Support new business development opportunities by providing expert knowledge of building types and management approaches and processes.
  • Attend building committee, client, and regulatory agency review and other meetings as necessary or required.
  • Author and maintain accurate and complete notes, minutes, project reports of meetings, telecoms, and activities. Discuss and distribute such to those involved in the project as necessary.
  • Responsible for submittals to local, state, and federal agencies. Review the project with building inspector, fire marshal, etc.
  • Assume special projects and duties as assigned or requested.

Senior Project Manager Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and multi-phased projects.
  • May serve as Project Director (overseeing other Project Managers) or PIC (Principal In Charge - if a principal) on assigned projects.
  • As PIC, maintain consistent communication with PM on assigned projects to sufficiently familiarize oneself to take over basic PM roles and responsibilities when needed. Perform PIC role as described in Project Leadership Document.
  • Maintain regular communication with the client to monitor expectations and project team performance.
Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a construction-related field preferred.
  • Experience in project management, preferably within the construction or architectural field.
  • Experience with supervisory management responsibilities.
  • PM: 8+ years of experience.
  • Sr. PM: 10+ years of experience, 5+ as a PM.

Training Requirements (Licenses, Programs, or Certificates):

  • Professional Registration preferred.
  • Advanced Computer and Information Management Skills (Excel, MS Project, Vision, or similar project management programs).
