For this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for the complete oversight and execution of construction projects. You'll serve as the main point of contact for clients and the project team, manage all vendors and materials, report on project performance, and actively participate in hands-on construction tasks on job sites.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing direction to general contractors, architects, and vendors in order to complete projects on time and within contract requirements
  • Review construction contract and pay requests in accordance with the details contract and pay application checklists
  • Monitor deliverables of developments and landlord contractors to ensure compliance with EquipmentShare's building requirements and timelines
  • Thoroughly review, audit, and take action on errors in all hard copy documentation as well as electronic reporting
  • Responsible for change order requests including reviewing, negotiation and approving all changes
  • Reviewer of new store plans including civil, architectural, engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Ensure EquipmentShare's locations are designed effectively per a quarterly audit of Standard Criteria Plans
  • Prepare bid information for EquipmentShare's locations including standard invitation to bid form, applicable addendums, bid books, and relevant documentation
  • Survey existing building and prepare scope of work including necessary inspections
  • Responsible for sourcing new EquipmentShare locations within designated Region
  • Scope and budget for remodels of existing building to be converted into new EquipmentShare locations
  • Participate in weekly cross functional meetings to continuously assess cost, efficiency, and design reviews for all construction
  • Process closeout checklist documentation, and manage the 11 month warranty process for all retrofit projects
  • Store and file all important materials in the project filing system and send final plans to external vendors for data backup post projects
Skills & Qualifications
  • Must have 15+ years of construction experience
  • Must have 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects at a time within the commercial and/or industrial construction industry
  • Experience managing multiple construction projects over 1 million
  • Must have experience dealing with steel frame buildings
  • Proficient in Google sheets and construction management software
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, problem solving, and time management
  • Ability to effectively work cross functionally
  • Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has an excellent driving record
  • Ability to be hands-on at your construction sites.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager will play an integral role in delivering cutting-edge proton therapy solutions to benefit cancer patients worldwide. This includes managing Mevion S250i and S250-FIT products at customer sites. They serve as the key point of contact throughout all project phases, from concept through installation and clinical go-live.

Essential Functions

  • Primary project liaison for customers on all Mevion Medical Systems projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve site design challenges during installation and clinical launch.

Education & Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, especially radiation oncology systems, is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Procore, and MS Office suite.

**About the role**
The Design Execution Project Manager will be responsible for managing the design process from campus planning/basis of design stage through issuance of construction drawings. This includes building matrixed design teams from Google's internal design and external design services partners/providers, facilitating the creation of a shared plan for the execution, and oversight of construction administration services provided by the external design team in support of construction activities. **What you'll do**
+ Develop and assist in planning and kickoff workshops with internal & external stakeholders
+ Assist with design reviews in partnership with external partners
+ Assist in authoring scopes of work for contracts and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders;

**What you'll need**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
+ Prior experience with data center design and/or construction preferred. Examples of non-data center projects: healthcare (hospitals), large commercial (high rise), laboratory, manufacturing facilities (fabs), high power (power plants)
+ Minimum 1 years of design project management experience is required
+ Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA, or equivalent) is preferred.
+ General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
+ Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager Staff orchestrates the execution of small to medium sized, complex medical device development projects, through coordination of timelines, resources, and deliverables. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can synchronize diverse workstreams while supporting the strategic vision established by technical leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Orchestrate complex medical device product development initiatives, ensuring performance to schedule, scope, budget, and quality metrics.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that capture dependencies, milestones, and resource needs across functional areas.
  • Facilitate effective governance structures, including team meetings, stage gate reviews, and executive updates that enable timely decision-making.
  • Anticipate and address execution risks, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with technical and engineering leadership.
  • Implement and track meaningful project execution metrics that drive accountability and enable data-driven decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance execution efficiency and quality.
  • Provide project management support to both technical teams and project contributors.
  • Ensure adherence to medical device regulations and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline required or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering product development and lifecycle management or related technical field.
  • Track record of successfully coordinating technical initiatives in collaborative environments.
  • Experience in highly regulated industry preferred, medical device development desired

Skills

  • Ability to manage the project lifecycle from initiation to close on small to medium sized projects.
  • Creates and executes comprehensive project plans that integrate diverse technical and functional requirements

The Transmission Planning Project Manager will support a broad range of studies and other consulting services to support power delivery utilities to make decisions backed by business and engineering analysis. The Transmission System Planning Project Manager will perform transmission planning and operational studies consisting of power flow, transient stability, transfer capability, short-circuit, electromagnetic, reliability, and economic dispatch associated with congestion management scenarios.

The project manager will be required to work with numerous entities in the industry including investor-owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, electric cooperatives, and independent transmission providers. This project manager will be a seller-doer, conducting sales and marketing activities and executing projects. The project manager will spend time directly engaged with clients to identify new work, prepare proposals, establish study objectives, formulate project approaches, and manage/oversee a team of consultants/engineers to meet the study objectives and provide the client with useful and actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities:

The project manager will be responsible for, and manage, all aspects of projects from business development, scope and fee development, staffing plan development, project oversight and execution, quality management, and financial performance responsibilities. The project manager will support and lead both on-the-job and classroom training efforts for less experienced team members. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Business development: Develop new, and manage existing, client relationships through client marketing and project interactions; identify new sales opportunities with clients; lead all aspects of proposal development and submission including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling; establish critical project objectives and performances with client; lead contract preparation and negotiations.

  • Project execution: Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality control of deliverables; analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to all internal and external stakeholders; lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to department management.

  • Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced staff on technical and business aspects of projects and the industry; serve as a recognized industry-leader in power generation planning and evaluation; support company initiatives.

  • Develop and evaluate future transmission planning plans for major electrical projects.

  • Interpret and apply necessary NERC, FERC and regional assessments, following established requirements and standards.

  • Lead risk assessment processes and procedures utilizing standard techniques.

  • Lead transmission planning assignments utilizing power system analysis software.

  • Resolve transmission planning technical issues encountered during projects and present solutions to other project team members.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering preferred, or related field from an accredited curriculum. Advanced degree is a plus such as an MBA, Masters in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or PhD.

  • Minimum 5 years related experience with a broad range of transmission system studies, including 3 or more years managing engineering projects.

  • Deep and broad base of knowledge regarding electric transmission systems and transmission system planning processes.

  • Extensive experience with planning, studies, and operations such as transient stability, short circuit, and voltage analysis; NERC, FERC, and Regional requirements, policies, and procedures; production costing; risk assessment techniques; TPL compliance; generator interconnection; and harmonics analysis.

  • Strong computer skills using industry software such as PSS/E, PSLF, EMTP/ATP, PSCAD, SKM, ETAP, and Promod.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a transmission system planning study with execution support from other staff.

  • Knowledge of numerous power regions of the country and independent system operators such as PJM, MISO, NEISO, SPP, CAISO, WECC, SERC, ERCOT, NYISO

  • Knowledge of NERC and FERC standards

  • Demonstrated ability to provide independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard engineering techniques for electric transmission system planning procedures and criteria.

  • Proven ability to lead, educate, and train a team of engineers and analysts in regards to transmission system planning studies.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts

  • General business and financial calculation knowledge

  • Effective Project Management skills

  • Ability to work with existing and new clients to identify new projects, articulate to the clients our ability to perform those projects, and translate that into the sale of consulting services

  • Ability to communicate with various business contacts to understand their needs and translate them into a scope of work that meets their desired outcomes

  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines and to be effective in on-site work environments

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including identification of critical path items to ensure deliverable deadlines are met

  • Ability to focus on the big picture to effectively and efficiently provide services that meet client needs, while also having the ability to identify and analyze details that are critical to project outcomes

  • Willingness to learn new service offerings as client needs and the market requires changes to the service offerings provided by our group

  • Willingness and ability to develop a broad set of service offering types to allow for flexibility to go where the work is

  • Willingness to cross sell other services offered by Burns & McDonnell outside the project manager’s core set of services

  • Willingness to negotiate with clients for new service agreements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)

  • Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contracts on project-related matters.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional Registration preferred.

Compensation

$167,000.00-216,000.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
