This role is part of the North America Lifecycle Solutions and Services team (commonly referred to as Aftermarket) that works to support our existing customer sites with Modifications and Upgrades to their systems based on our expansive domain knowledge to help improve their safety, lower their costs and be more productive through all phases of the systems lifecycle.

Because of the large installed base of Dematic equipment and the breadth of solutions portfolio that Dematic designs, manufactures and/or integrates, this team executes many unique projects with many different end customers from retail store distribution to food & beverage manufacturers to e-commerce. Typical projects that our team executes would include updating PLC controls, rebuilding linear sorters, replacing worn components on Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, or expanding the capacity of a shuttle system by adding aisles; work schedules are also highly variably with most onsite work happening over weekends and holidays around the clock to limit customer operational impact.

The Sr. Director of Project Management manages a department of approximately 50 Project Management Leaders and Project Managers which execute projects to achieve goals for a safe work environment, best in class customer satisfaction, outstanding employee experience and predictable financial results. This role is responsible for roughly $350M of business across 400+ active projects and reports to the Vice President of Modification and Upgrades.

As a Manager in the Deloitte Technology-US (DT-US) Office of the CIO (OCIO) PMO team, you will play a key role in leveraging leading program and project management practices and methodologies to enable world-class delivery of our major internal technology programs.
The DT-US PMO team is part of the Office of CIO (OCIO) and reports to the US OCIO Leader. The OCIO leads the development and implementation for technology strategy at Deloitte and drives the strategic initiatives to build market leading technology capabilities. Work you'll do
As a DT-US Manager, you will work directly with the DT-US PMO FSS or Enabling Area Leads to leverage leading practices used within the Deloitte Businesses and/or industry to drive successful technology implementations. Specifically, you will proactively incorporate those leading practices into our evolving methodologies, tools, templates, processes, and organizational thinking for how we should manage and lead strategic technology implementations for continuous improvements. You will also manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for large and complex projects/programs in one or more of the DT-US project portfolios. You will also manage project/program risk identification and resolution to keep projects/programs on track and able to deliver planned outcomes. Responsibilities include:

Required Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience managing full lifecycle SAFe/Agile projects including overseeing the strategy / business case development, developing the implementation plan to support the business case, and driving the implementation of the plan to deliver the final program objectives
+ 1+ year of people management experience overseeing and mentoring numerous other PMs, Project Coordinators, etc.
+ 3+ years of project / program financial management (e.g., Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, Business Case Development, etc.) in addition to experience in the planning, estimation, resource management, project tracking, scope control, risk and issues management as well as stakeholder relationship management.

1. Organize and facilitate talent council and board for industry sector, including creating notes, budgets, and agendas.

1. Manage project committees and establish agreements around strategy and tactics for sector's projects.

1. Communicate information regarding industry talent and workforce development information and news to sector membership.
