As an Engineer, you design and integrate generation, controls, and medium/high‑voltage systems that make on‑site power work for hyperscale clients.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
+ Designs and integrates generation, controls, and medium/high‑voltage systems for BTM power plants
+ Produces engineering deliverables, including calculations, one‑lines, protection settings, P&IDs, specifications, and IFC packages
+ Plans and supports testing and commissioning, analyzes results, and closes punch items to meet start‑up targets
+ Anticipates stakeholder needs, frames requirements, and recommends options with clear trade‑offs
+ Improves products and processes by interpreting business and technical constraints and applying lessons learned
+ Collaborates with Operations, Safety, and Project Controls to maintain compliance and targeted training plans
+ Champions procedures and safety standards in design reviews, vendor meetings, and field activities
+ Tracks cost and schedule for assigned engineering scopes and manages vendor deliverables and resources
+ Prepares and delivers clear technical presentations to leaders, partners, and clients
+ May supervise the work of others on specific tasks or work packages
+ Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Engineer II:
+ Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Engineer III:
+ Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Engineer Sr:
+ Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
+ Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
Engineer Staff:

+ Oversees safety, health, and environmental compliance across high-voltage and gas-powered construction sites
+ Accelerates engineering and procurement workflows to meet aggressive build timelines
+ Manages construction closeout including data books, completion reports, and lessons learned for next-gen energy projects
+ Develops and enforces quality programs aligned with inspector qualifications, permits, and technical standards
+ Mentors team members and supports knowledge transfer across BTM and traditional pipeline projects

Education/Years of Experience:
Construction Manager III:
+ Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of six (6) years' related experience and CCM (CMAA) Certification
+ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Construction Manager Sr:
+ Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years' related experience with five (5) years' experience on large projects (greater $50M) and CCM (CMAA) Certification
+ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Construction Manager Staff:
+ Required: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of twelve (12) years' related experience on small to mega projects including a minimum seven (7) years on large to mega projects

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical, schedules, quality, and financial aspects of Power Delivery Transmission Line projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing our Power Delivery services to existing and new clients, particularly in the South and Southwest Region. This position will be based out of Austin, TX with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location. **Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:**
+ Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships
+ Lead proposals, negotiate the contract with clients and subcontractors, win and execute the project(s) in collaboration with project design teams
+ Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team

**Required Education/Experience**

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical, schedules and financial aspects of Power Delivery Transmission Line projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing our Power Delivery services to existing and new clients in the Mountain and Upper Midwest region. Ideally, this PM will be located near our Denver, CO, Boise, ID, St. Louis, MO, Overland Park, KS, Ann Arbor, MI or Burnsville, MN office, however, we will consider applicants for other locations where a POWER Engineers office is present.
**Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:**
+ Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships
+ Manage status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable and unbilled for each project
+ Collaborate with project design teams on a regular basis (e.g. regular project status meetings)
+ Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team
+ Develop Scopes of Work, schedules, and budgets. Work with team members to keep these updated on a regular basis.
+ Establish and review contracts with new and existing clients.

**Required Education/Experience**
+ PE registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

**Responsibilities**
- Manage staff and activities for multiple projects and develop staffing plans and schedules to meet the delivery schedule and task requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of Kiewit engineers and designers, and ensure they are prepared to execute and deliver project scope activities.

**Qualifications**

The Resource Planning Project Manager will support electric utilities in generation and power supply planning decisions, including the decisions and justifications of new generation facility construction, generation facility retirements, and facility retrofits or conversions, as well as power purchase decisions. The Resource Planning Project Manager will support a broad range of studies and other consulting services to support electric utilities to make decisions backed by business and engineering analysis regarding their power supply requirements, such as integrated resource planning, market assessments, and power supply RFP evaluations.
The Project Manager will be required to work with numerous entities in the industry including investor-owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, electric cooperatives, and independent power producers. This Project Manager will be a seller-doer, conducting sales and marketing activities and executing projects. The Project Manager will spend time directly engaged with clients to identify new work, prepare proposals, establish study objectives, formulate project approaches, and manage/oversee a team of consultants/engineers to meet the study objectives and provide the client with useful and actionable deliverables.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for, and manage, all aspects of projects from business development, scope and fee development, staffing plan development, project oversight and execution, quality management, and financial performance responsibilities. The project manager will support and lead both on-the-job and classroom training efforts for less experienced team members. Key responsibilities will include:
+ Business development: Develop new, and manage existing, client relationships through client marketing and project interactions; identify new sales opportunities with clients; lead all aspects of proposal development and submission including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling; establish critical project objectives and performances with clients; lead contract preparation and negotiations.
+ Project execution: Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality control of deliverables; analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to all internal and external stakeholders; lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to department management.
+ Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced staff on technical and business aspects of projects and the industry; serve as a recognized industry leader in power generation planning and evaluation; support company initiatives.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, computer science, data science or similar field from an ABET accredited program.
+ Master's degree in engineering, economics, computer science, data science, or business is preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of related experience; working for, or providing consulting services to, electric utilities, including 3 or more years managing engineering or consulting projects.
+ Strong knowledge of power supply planning software, preferably PROMOD (zonal and nodal) and Capacity Expansion (or familiarity with Plexos, EnCompass, GridView, or others).
+ Extensive knowledge of electric power options including generation facility types, capital costs, operating costs, typical dispatch profiles, and general power system operations. Knowledge of power supply purchase agreements regarding costs and terms.
+ Deep and broad base of knowledge of electric utility systems, power generation types, and power delivery with an understanding of power generation portfolio planning.
+ General business and financial calculation knowledge, including discounted cash flow analysis, net present value analysis, and internal rate of return evaluations.
+ Proven ability to lead, educate, and train a team of engineers and analysts in regard to power supply planning studies.
+ Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts.
+ General business and financial calculation knowledge.
