The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and executing medium to large-scale projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and (where applicable) government contract and regulatory requirements. **YOUR IMPACT**
+ Project Leadership & Execution
+ Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
+ Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.

+ Ensure successful project closure, validating all deliverables and outcomes.
+ Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration
+ Lead cross-functional teams from Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Finance, and external partners.
+ Serve as the primary liaison for customers (including government agencies) on small to mid-size programs or within defined areas of larger programs.
+ Facilitate effective communication across internal teams, suppliers, customers, and executive stakeholders.
+ Prepare and deliver status updates, reports, and briefings to stakeholders, including government customers.
+ Monitoring, Compliance & Documentation
+ Monitor progress using KPIs, earned value metrics (EVM), dashboards, and tracking tools.
+ Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, status reports, issue logs, and performance summaries.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949, FAR/DFARS).
+ Support internal/external audits and manage scope change requests in coordination with contracts and legal teams.
+ Risk, Quality & Process Management
+ Identify and mitigate project risks; manage scope changes and implement change control procedures.
+ Monitor adherence to quality and technical requirements.
+ Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Support & Development
+ Support proposal development and cost estimation efforts for new opportunities.
+ Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of PMO tools, templates, and best practices.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience OR 9 years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS**
+ PMP or CAPM certification.
+ Experience in government or defense contracting; familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
+ Proficiency with Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
+ Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and reporting experience with Power BI or Tableau.
+ Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/SCRUM, ECNs, and phase gate processes.
+ Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or CMMI frameworks.

**Pay Range:**
$82,000.00 - $132,800.00

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a high level Roofing Company in the market. They have a diverse portfolio and a vast variety of projects. They are in need of an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator and or a skilled Project Manager.

The Estimator calculates preliminary job budgets and prepares formal job bids through interpreting blueprints, performing take-offs and estimating job costs. The Estimator/Project Manager alsointerfaces with clients and their representatives to ensure that technical specifications and designs are feasible and consistent with industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities include:
  • Developing accurate and complete job estimates.
  • Identify project labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents.
  • Conduct site visits and attends pre-bid meetings to understand project scope.
  • Conduct review and take-off of blueprints.
  • Solicit bids from subcontractors.
  • Gather subcontractor pricing and conducts scope review.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids to bid documents and plans to ensure that the full scope of work was considered.
  • Consider subcontractors ability to perform the work.
  • Calculate costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials.
  • Collaborate with the client to help them achieve their project cost budget through consideration of plan details, alternate material/finishes and building methods.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and the Pre-Construction team to maintain relationships with existing clients and subcontractors.
  • Produce P&L reports
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in Commercial Roofing Estimation
  • Must possess a working knowledge of commercial roofing documentation
  • General contracting knowledge
  • Ability to write and review contracts
  • Experience with EDGE estimating software is a plus
  • BS/BA in Construction, Engineering, or Business is a plus
  • Knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction processes and theories.
  • Ability to identify, correct and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.
