**Job Summary/Purpose**
Manages the development and delivery of a capital project or program to which he or she is assigned and focuses on the achievement of project cost and schedule objectives while achieving excellence in the areas of project safety and quality. Works directly with Construction Manager to ensure project is delivered with cost and schedule certainty. Manages risks and risk management issues to ensure risks are identified and mitigated. Works directly with Project Controls to ensure alignment with Stage Gate Processes and to ensure that proper project controls are being implemented. Provides direct management and support to Project Team members throughout the project lifecycle. Works closely with contractor representatives to achieve capital project objectives.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
1. Promotes safe behavior and adherence to the safety rules on the project. Leads the project team to establish leading indicators and proactive requirements to ensure safety is considered in all aspects of design and implementation for contractors, Entergy project team members, and the end user. Ensures contract scope of work includes safety deliverables/requirements as needed.
2. Defines the project organization structure required for the project and identifies the technical skills required to achieve project goals. Works with the appropriate Entergy management to assign appropriately skilled individuals to the Project Team. Prepares contracts and approves requisitions/change orders/invoices. Fulfills role of "Contract Manager" or as Owner's representative as otherwise defined in the project contracts. Issues formal correspondence to Contractors.
3. Leads the project team to develop and execute the Project in accordance with the applicable corporate standards and guidelines.Ensures that team members fulfill the responsibilities as required of their roles. Navigates the project through the Entergy Stage Gate process and coordinates activities to meet the requirements of Entergy's SGP and associated deliverables (estimates, schedules, gates, deliverables, etc.). Oversees the project team in the development of project deliverables. Coordinates the activities of project stakeholders and working groups engaged in project work. Delivers projects with cost and schedule certainty; manages and controls costs; manages risk by identifying and mitigating risks.
4. Provides clear, timely and accurate project status reports for management. Prepares reports and presentations to management. Identifies, makes timely decisions and takes prompt action on project issues that could impact project performance. Promptly communicates issues to the next level of leadership that are outside the authority of capability of the Senior Manager to resolve.
5. Coordinates with all functional departments as required to achieve the requirements of the applicable corporate standards and to achieve project budget and timelineincluding CC&A, and Supply Chain. Monitors contractor performance in the area of project safety, schedule, cost, quality of work and compliance with contractual requirements.
**Minimum Requirements**
Minimum **education** required of the position
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
+ Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum **experience** required of the position
+ Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the utility industry with experience in major capital project planning, execution, and control.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Minimum **knowledge, skills and abilities** required of the position
Engaged leader with a history of successfully delivering capital projects/portfolios. Solid understanding of project management fundamentals and stage-gate processes focused on delivering T&D projects with cost, schedule and scope certainty. Experienced in risk and contingency management. The projects will mainly be in process and utilities, but they will be based on a wide range of safety, quality, infrastructure, savings, and equipment improvements. They will drive the site masterplan for mayonnaise processing aligned with the Unilever design teams, and provide technical support to the day to day and reliability activities. This role reports to Site Engineering Manager at the Kilbourn Dressings Site.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Organized and detail-oriented to deliver projects respective safety, product quality, project timing, and cost. You will be supported by full-time and hired contractors to execute the projects. The Project Engineer for process takes a leadership role over a portion of the capital project portfolio in the site.
Management of improvement projects in a fast-moving environment with many stakeholders requires the ability for independent decision making, constructive collaboration, managing expectations, and navigating tradeoffs for our customers (the factory). The position is responsible for cost estimating, analyzing options, building business cases, critiquing designs, managing construction, installation, commissioning, and handover with minimal supervision. As a member of management in a factory, you will be expected to lead other activities in our safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs. You are the site expert on food processing, batching, and energy and utilities management.
The Project Delivery Engineer leads the standardization and development of the plant masterplan for process, grounds, and utilities. Technical resource to the category engineering team for new products and re-stages (innovation and renovation), and a resource for factory continuous improvement programs.
The role also participates in cross-plant improvement teams. Develops strong partnership with plant manufacturing, continuous improvement, corporate engineering and union workforce. Supports root cause analysis on process and utilities issues.

Pay: The pay range for this position is 86,080 to 129,120.
