The Regulatory Quality Reporting Project Manager oversees the design, implementation, and management of assigned quality reporting programs across the organization. This role identifies program owners, facilitates system build decisions to support reporting needs, ensures streamlined workflows, and manages all phases of assigned projects from initiation to closure. In addition, this position mentors junior project managers and may serve as coverage for leadership as needed.
What you will do:
- Identify and assign ownership for regulatory quality reporting programs (inpatient, outpatient, and specialty).
- Oversee EHR design/build decisions to ensure accurate, efficient reporting workflows.
- Serve as liaison between internal teams, leadership, and external partners to align on program requirements.
- Integrate reporting workflows into standard clinical practices in collaboration with clinicians and quality teams.
- Monitor program updates, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Manage full project lifecycleinitiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closureaccording to PMI standards.
- Coordinate project tasks within approved budgets and timelines.
- Supervise and direct internal and external project team members; provide performance feedback when requested.
- Prepare and present resource requests to secure funding, staffing, or other needs.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for consulting engagements.
- Track and report program statuses according to PMO guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and coverage for other regulatory quality project managers.
- Resolve client relations, compliance, and performance issues in a timely manner.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, Project Management, Nursing, Public Health, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience: 3-7 years in project management with advanced knowledge of regulatory quality reporting programs such as MIPS, Promoting Interoperability, and eCQM.
- Certifications: PMP certification preferred; EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, and/or Regulatory Reporting badges preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory programs and reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project portfolio management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving regulations.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience
- Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language
- Master's degree, or CPA
