**Job Description**
The Project Manager for Interfaces and Scope reports to the Engineering Director and is responsible for assuring that the external and internal interfaces of the Salar de Atacama DLE Commercial Plant Project are efficiently managed such that the engineering design is consistent with Albemarle's engineering, quality and technical requirements. This position will assist the project team to plan and coordinate interfaces related to engineering contractors, technology suppliers, internal process technology and development teams, as well as the Albemarle supply chain, project assurance, and other internal functions. The Project Manager will own the scopes of work for the engineering integrators and technology suppliers and assist in managing the contracts with each of these entities.
This position will be based from the Albemarle office in Clear Lake, TX with a hybrid work schedule. Working from the Albemarle office in Charlotte, NC is considered as an alternative location. It is expected that some travel to the site in Chile will be required to provide field support during the detailed Engineering/ Construction phases of the project.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Defining and managing technical interfaces between Albemarle, EPC Contractor, and external technology suppliers which include site utility providers, rail service companies, reagent suppliers (through supply chain), etc.
+ Work with cross functional teams to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with external stakeholders, including meetings, setting of priorities, evaluating comments/requests, and ensuring internal and external stakeholder's approval
+ Reviewing project schedules and ensuring updates from external service provides are included to raise awareness among project management
+ Assist in the development of project updates, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting across the major phases of project development to allow timely decisions are made to maintain the schedule and progression of the project
+ Lead project assurance activities under the Albemarle Project Process including preparing for and leading Independent Peer Reviews
+ Works with engineering management as well as contracting & procurement to ensure requirements are included in commercial documents
+ Research, interpret, and ensure compliance with regulatory and design codes and standards. Maintains awareness of changing requirements and considers them in engineering designs.
+ Ensures the accuracy of design information - according to corporate specifications and standards - whether done by Albemarle personnel or by outside contractors prior to being issued for design/construction
+ Ensuring technical compliance with specifications from external service providers
+ Ensures teams (internal and external) review and revise engineering specifications and standards as required by project management or as needed to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
+ Review technical feasibility of proposed solutions to engineering problems related to external service providers. Ensures constructability reviews are used in project phases to validate the completeness and operability of designs.
+ Maintains quality and timeliness of safety activities and deliverables throughout the project delivery process
+ Helps to oversee quality assurance activities during construction including but not limited to surveillance tasks needed to ensure the plan aligns with the actual

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, and Civil as a preference,
+ Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in a relevant heavy industry.
+ Fluent in English with Spanish language ability a value.
**Preferred Experience:**
+ Engineering experience in Refining, Chemicals, Mining/Minerals/Metals or similar industrial manufacturing environment with progressive demonstration of experience on capital projects.
+ Exposure to and knowledge of site construction practices, with time spent in the field during construction will be seen as a key differentiator.
+ Preferred that the experience is a mix of time in the office as well as time in a plant or other manufacturing environment.
+ Broad experience with stage gate process for developing projects.
+ Project management experience from international projects.

Candidate will coordinate with Program Managers, Business Managers, Contracts, Pricing, Engineering and others within IFG and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company to develop and execute business/proposal strategies.
Candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing technical documentation (e.g., Statement of Work (SOW)) for use in proposal preparation and program execution.
Candidate will be responsible for reviewing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from external customers to establish the scope and level of detail required for the contract technical documents for each proposal.
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring the status of the proposal as it moves through the process, providing work around plans when issues arise, and in coordination with all members of the proposal team, act as the sole source for accurate proposal status.
Candidate will ensure timely inputs for the proposal schedule to accomplish execution of the detailed plan.
Candidate will be required to accurately input and maintain data within the Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS) and other databases as well as extract proposal metrics, and organize and graphically display the data.
Candidate will provide proposal performance information to Lockheed Martin Corporation, LM Aero Core groups and other IFG functions as necessary.
Candidate will perform quantitative statistical analysis and provide reports to support management.

What You Will Do:
Provides logistics/scheduling related technical support and manages project schedules to assigned internal client groups for planning, procurement, development, construction and maintenance activities by:
- Adhering to enterprise scheduling standards for development and implementation of schedules, ensures standards are current, e.g., Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Updating, revising, and detailing for schedules as projects progress through development and execution stages, e.g., updating the schedules based on earned-value data from the Field Construction Analysts and other sources of construction tracking and reporting information.
- Assist with interpreting performance of scheduled activities and communicating issues to the Project Manager, e.g., analyzing the impacts that schedule updates will have on baseline plans, ensuring resource requirements for schedules are incorporated at planning stages and continuously developed through the project lifecycle,
- Providing technical advice related to scheduling/planning/logistics.
- University Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or Finance/Accounting related fields. Other Post-Secondary education may be considered.
- 4 years of Project Controls or Project Management experience is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate the capability to cultivate positive relationships with project staff, internal and external collaborators.

The ISE Analyst Project Planning is responsible for managing the detailed planning strategy, scope and implementation plans for projects that directly impact customers shopping experiences in Home Depot stores. This position partners with multi-functional teams consisting of approximately 10- 15 individuals from across the enterprise. Assist the merchant and suppliers to define and articulate project strategy and objectives, scope and business requirements.
