**A Snapshot of Your Day**
The Project Lead Engineer handles the complete technical
scope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore
projects. This includes gas turbine-driven generators/compressors and electric
motor-driven compressor trains, typically with extended plant scope (coolers,
scrubbers, anti-surge valves, etc.)
The selected candidate will lead global technical project
teams of multi-discipline engineers, designers and suppliers, and will be the
primary contact for technical interactions with the Customer, working in
collaboration with the project manager.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Manage all technical aspects of the projectwith internal and external clients, to deliver the equipment per contractualrequirements.
+ Develop and monitor the engineering scheduleand supervise the engineering budget.
+ Provide guidance to the team on designdecisions, such as overall system control philosophies and main equipmentspecification.
+ Provide engineering support during proposal,manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and operation.
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelor's degree in an engineering relatedfield (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Petroleum is preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

Preconstruction & Estimating Support

As a **Lead Project Manager** , you will be responsible for implementing enterprise-wide software solutions for many of the world's largest companies. Within our Professional Services Organization, the successful candidate will work closely with analysts, product managers, key account executives and customer project teams to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management and implementation of software solutions for large enterprises. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong sense of customer care.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead client service delivery
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Manage a small Professional Services team
+ Work with Enablon teams to acquire and board staff
+ Drive/improve services quality and client satisfaction
+ Identify and manage risks
+ Understanding of the contractual framework
+ Facilitate communication between different departments, actors and clients
+ Resolve conflicts, escalations
+ Maintain client relationships, be personable
+ Support sales cycle to position services
+ Produce well defined project implementation proposals
+ Manage expectations and help manage to "zero surprises"
+ Anticipate project and account needs (proactive as opposed to reactive)
+ Ensure high quality Project deliverables and the proper implementation of QA plans
+ Make sure all projects follow prescribed methodology and maintain proper project deliverables
+ Participate in the account planning meetings
+ Act as a point of contact for PS services
**Qualifications & Experience:**
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required
Experience:
+ 7+ years of professional experience working on software or integration projects
+ 5+ years of project management and implementation of software solutions experience within the operational risk management, control of work, or electronic permit to work space
+ 2+ years in leadership of a small services team
+ Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients/partners
+ Some experience in sales of professional services
+ A proven track record for project planning, delivery, control and completion
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
+ PMP, Prince2 or equivalentcertification
+ Demonstrate excellent verbal and writtencommunication
+ Able to effectively present in front of large internal or externalgroups
+ Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects in a fast-pacedenvironment
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with solid problem-solvingskills

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
+ Planning, coordinating, and executing design, build, and installation support activities across GE Vernova and subcontracted resources, ensuring contract requirements are met, and managing cost, quality, and schedule constraints.
+ Identifying, managing, and executing the day-to-day operational aspects of project scope, adapting to the changing needs and requirements of the customer.
+ Maintaining accurate project milestone tracking to provide visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting.
+ Being accountable for project revenue, contribution margin, and cash collection targets, supporting the PCS North America region.
+ Facilitating day-to-day operations such as QMI reviews, project reviews, CMR reviews, 1OTR processes, and regional reviews.
+ Regularly tracking and communicating project progress, open action items, and all aspects of project status to key stakeholders through project kick-offs, regular status updates, risk and opportunity assessments, and project closure reports.
+ Identifying, escalating, and resolving issues/risks that might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets.
+ Demonstrating self-motivation and teamwork, driving cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating results to customers.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
+ Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
**Eligibility Requirements**
+ Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen or able to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Experience with SAP
+ PMP certification.
+ Previous experience in the Marine Industry
+ Background in a customer-facing service delivery or project management role
+ Technical knowledge of power conversion products, including controls/automation, variable frequency drives, and power systems.
+ Ability to learn and adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and practices
+ Competence in decision-making regarding task completion and follow-up on outcomes.
+ Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear messages using MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
