Designing, developing, testing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for the Data Warehouse using SAP Business Objects, Tableau, SQL, Autosys, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and AWS. Developing and maintaining Python code. Designing and developing financial dashboards and reports for core banking products (loans, deposits, trade finance, treasury, and customer statements). Performing business intelligence (BI) development using SAP Business Objects (designing, developing, testing, and implementing Business Objects Universes, reports, Security, and performance tuning), and using Tableau (designing, developing, testing, and implementing Data Source, Dashboard, Worksheet, LODs, Security, and performance tuning). Writing, evaluating, testing, and performance tuning advanced SQL queries in database technologies such as DB2, Oracle MS SQL Server, AWS, or similar platforms. Developing and scheduling batch jobs using Autosys; and with Waterfall methodology and Agile methodology. Analyzing business requirements and preparing functional and technical specifications, and test cases. Coordinating and interacting with technical and business groups. Assigning work to onshore and offshore contractors, checking their work, and ensuring the project and tasks are delivered on time and with quality. Supporting consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying, and addressing BI needs to meet business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements. Supporting the development of a change management process that facilitates the ability for business leaders to propose new metrics or metric modifications per business needs. Supporting the development of a standard process on defining data requirements, managing governance, and creating BI reports and dashboards for use throughout the organization. Supporting the partnership with business stakeholders to streamline and automate existing reporting, crucial for meeting regulatory and compliance requirements; and Providing support to define, design, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications - External
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 5 years of experience performing business intelligence (BI) development using Tableau (designing, developing, testing, and implementing Data Source, Dashboard, Worksheet, LODs, Security, and performance tuning); writing, evaluating, testing, and performance tuning SQL queries in database technologies (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or AWS redshift); analyzing business requirements, preparing functional and technical specifications, and test cases; and 1 year of experience must include business intelligence (BI) development experience using SAP Business Objects (designing, developing, testing, and implementing Business Objects Universes, reports, Security, and performance tuning); developing and scheduling batch jobs using Autosys; maintaining project deliverables with Waterfall methodology and Agile methodology; and developing and maintaining Python code.
Other: Required to work nights & weekends & be on-call during non-business hours as necessary for technical support & maintenance purposes.
Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.
Wage: $134,659 to $156,000 U.S. dollars per year

Skills - Genpact LLC seeks Data Analyst-Business Intelligence (multiple positions) in Danville, IL to be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of current metrics, reports, data analysis, and dashboards to drive key business decisions using reporting tools like Spotfire, Tableau, among others. Analyze data and extract meaningful features using advanced analytics. Recommend improvements to provide optimum reporting solutions. Design Data Models as the per requirements in the Datawarehouse (e.g., Teradata, Oracle). Lead the ETL team in developing Informatica Workflows for data transfer and integration as per the Data Model created. Responsible for creating, modifying, and developing complex machine learning (ML) models using various data science techniques for the application to be developed using Python or R. Develop Deep Neural Network models for classification/regression using Tensor Flow. Develop entity extraction frameworks using Natural Language Processing (NLP) from unstructured data. Participate in specifying the techniques and the optimal algorithm needed for the program. Write SQL queries and procedures to extract data from large databases like Oracle, Redshift, Greenplum, and others. Work with other teams to resolve issues and implement new features. Work with business users, project managers, and other project stakeholders and leads to gather and understand requirements. Assist in the analysis and design phase of projects. Responsible for maintenance and application upgrades. Create new functionality after the initial release. Fix bugs as required. Handle huge data sets effectively and write pipelines to train and test the ML models. Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions to other team members when needed.

Education - Position requires a Master's degree in an Engineering (all), Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (all), Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in the job offered or a related occupation is acceptable. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 15% of travel required. $118,789 to $24,728 per year.

The BI Data Analyst will review functional requirements and assist with functional specifications. They will develop insights into business and data models and will perform data analysis activities to identify relational data issues. The BI Data Analyst will also review issues identified by offshore development teams and will work with SMEs / Microsoft IT to understand the cause of identified issues (e.g., in report, cube, data mart, or data quality). 3-5 years of experience working with SQL queries, as well as accessing and analyzing data within data marts and cubes, is required. The candidate must have T-SQL query experience as well as browsing and exploring OLAP cubes for data issues.

Overview:

We are looking for a detail oriented, skilled and motivated Business Intelligence / Data Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our data-driven team. Qualifications:

  • 35 years of hands-on experience in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills, including joint, aggregations, and analytical functions.
  • Experience in building and optimizing stored procedures and reusable data scripts.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Exposure to version control systems such as Git
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL).
