Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will facilitate timely, transparent and accurate management of the business units external expense budget. Responsibilities include negotiating supplier budgets and contracts across multiple functions within the Biosimilars Division including Commercial and Scientific Affairs among others, competitively sourcing services as applicable; coordinating Purchase Order (PO) execution in compliance with financial and budgetary procedures, including initiating requisitions, facilitating the approval process, and enabling PO execution; monitoring contracts throughout the service period and amending, including liaising and negotiating with suppliers and internal customers; handle invoice approval issues; tracking and reporting spend against budgets; and managing external supplier relationships. Coordinates among all Biosimilars cross-functional leads, Finance, Global Strategic Sourcing, Buying Center, Accounts Payable, and external suppliers.

  • Regularly updated and accurate expense trackers, providing transparency of external expenses within the Biosimilars Division;
  • Complete the Analytical Reference Product procurement process, to ensure that the quarterly RFP process is executed, budget approvals and POs are issued in a timely manner, and orders are tracked appropriately to meet the needs of the Analytical team
  • Various ad-hoc budget-related analyses: quarter-end accrual analysis and planning system updates, variance analysis, management reporting, etc.
  • Budget training and accounting guidance to the Biosimilars team, ensuring that all contractual and expense transactions are aligned with Amgen guidelines, SOPs, and accounting principles.

Job Summary
The Strategic Planning Manager supports the Strategic Planning department in identifying and developing long-term goals and strategic objectives for Baylor Scott and White Health. This position conducts market analysis, provides strategic insights, and presents recommendations to support decision making and drive organizational growth.

Essential Functions Of The Role

  • The strategic planning manager is responsible for gathering, analyzing and communicating strategic data and initiatives for Baylor Scott & White Health.
  • Conducts market research, analyzes trends, and collaborates with cross-functional teams by building and maintaining working relationships.
  • Helps drive growth strategies and approaches, and leverages data analytics that lead to the improvement in business operations and strategic positioning.
  • Prepares, summarizes, and communicates analysis for presentation to other leaders within Baylor Scott & White Health.
  • Monitors key performance indicators and helps evaluate the success of implemented strategies.
  • Help lead the annual strategic planning processes through the use of data, analytics, modeling and project management skills.
  • Develops and maintains projections models for value stream analysis.
  • Participates in the selection process for system wide technology investments and vendor alignment.
  • Remains abreast of trends in strategic planning, the market, and the broader health care industry.
  • Utilizes business tools including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, along with third-party analytics tools, including mapping software and healthcare claims data.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Experience in healthcare administration or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using data visualization tools, Power BI preferred.
  • Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize large sets of data to influence strategic decisions.
  • Experience preparing materials for presentations to senior leaders preferred.
  • MS Office Suite Proficient Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strengths working in a dynamic, ambiguous, and ever-changing work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The mission of our Sales Strategic Planning and Operations (SSPO) function is to drive efficient revenue growth and product adoption by aligning the business to monetization priorities and transforming our business into a data-driven organization. Meta is seeking an experienced business leader to help in setting strategic direction, designing, scaling, and optimizing the internal tools, processes and frameworks that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Sales organization. They will work closely with our Global and Regional SSPO teams, Product partners, Sales leaders, Data Science partners and core cross-functional teams to surface insights, ensure our processes evolve with the needs of our business and integrate with our internal tools.This role requires someone who has a skillset to manage a range of tasks, including but not limited to product and processes development and optimization, business goal definition, data-driven business reviews, stakeholder management/driving alignment, internal communications, ad hoc data analysis, and contribution to the team and values.

Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Lead Responsibilities:
  • Lead the identification of tooling requirements to enhance the selling experience
  • Guide the development of processes and tools that enable more efficient business performance
  • Test and iterate on these tools and processes
  • Prepare the GTM and launch tools and processes with the right training and enablement material
  • Develop and execute change management plans (incl. goal setting) to ensure successful adoption
  • Leverage the new processes and tools built to collect structured data and generate insights that inform sales GTM
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, product management, finance, or similar sales strategy and operations roles
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Leadership and influencing skills – experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
  • Results and detail oriented, with commercial/business acumen and demonstrated experience in translating complex concepts and terminology in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate combined with new opportunities for the larger organization and influencing operational efficiency initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated to design and launch organization-wide scalable processes that promote governance and accountability
  • Demonstrated program management skills to drive large-scale projects to fruition, including goal setting, action planning, risk management, milestone tracking, KPI tracking, progress reporting and communications
  • Demonstrated experience in SQL, spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets) and presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Slides)
  • Experience shifting priorities, balancing multiple initiatives at once, and maintaining organization
  • Familiarity with Meta's platforms and products, has a proven track record of proactive operational leadership in a cross-functional environment, and can move fast to drive results
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or graduate degree
  • Experience in technology industry
  • Experience in Enterprise SaaS businesses, sales operations, and programs
  • Experience developing and/or overseeing advanced quantitative analysis and deriving actionable insights
  • Demonstrated interest for helping build great businesses and for Meta products
