Summary
The PSM Coordinator will implement and maintain the plant ammonia refrigeration PSM program, work as Utility department lead with Manager/Supervisor and maintain Plant ODS log, be involved in the Department PM program, and assist in the management of the day-to-day operation of the Utility Department.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Position manages the Plant PSM (Process Safety Management) program and is responsible for managing (operation, maintenance, and upgrade) the Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, CFC Refrigeration Systems, Steam generating system, Plant Compressed Air system, Plant HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) systems.

Responsible for managing ODS (Ozone Depleting Substance) usage and recovery procedures and log.

Position assists with Boiler and Pressure vessel inspections and certificates.

Position is responsible for managing the emergency response process for all environmental issues related to the Ammonia Refrigeration System.

Under the direction of the Utilities Manager, the PSM Coordinator will assist in providing leadership across all three shifts in establishing, organizing, planning, and implementing utilities programs/initiatives that will support the facility Utilities strategy. These programs will include but are not limited to PSM (including leading internal PSM audits of the 14 elements of PSM), Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Predictive Maintenance, Equipment Overhauls, and Equipment Upgrades of the plant ammonia control systems and Utility equipment.

Duties will also include assisting with the development and training / certification needs of Hourly Utility Operator(s) and Hourly Utility Analyst(s).

Duties also include the development/management of the plant PSM program. The position will assist with the identification / execution of capital projects in the Utility area.

Position will coordinate associated ammonia best practices across the plant and facilitate continuous improvement in the Utility group.

The person in this position will interface, on a frequent basis, with the Corporate Refrigeration Manager to stay aligned and up to date on information and direction being shared across all ammonia refrigeration facilities, as well as to share ideas and practices with other facilities that will benefit them in the safe, efficient operation of their facility.

Minimum Education
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
Experience Requirements

A minimum of five-years' experience with PSM, refrigeration and boiler operation are preferred.

Must demonstrate strong working and technical knowledge of refrigeration, steam generation, compressed air generation, Utility equipment, maintenance systems, equipment installation/startups and plant utility equipment.

Individual should have experience working with vendors and contractors.

Individual must also be able to learn the company policies and procedures.

Individual must have interpersonal and team skills to function as a team member and leader.

Must be proficient in Process Safety Management (PSM), possess electrical troubleshooting skills as they relate to refrigeration and HVAC controls.

Must possess a strong working knowledge of water treatment associated with boiler feed water, cooling towers, and condensers.

When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.

Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.

Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.

The PSM Engineer has the responsibility and authority for designing, implementing, maintaining and improving all high hazard processes, process data gathering, and maintenance document control processes as needed. The PSM Engineer will identify and implement process related improvement activities with the intent to reduce and minimize risk to high hazard processes. The PSM Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance on regulatory compliance issues associated with OSHA PSM Standard, and BD's PSM Standard; specifically, as related to the development and implementation of PSM programs.

+ Represent the facility from the process safety perspective during third party audits, (company sponsored internal audit), EPA, OSHA, and BD Standards
+ Work as a liaison between site's PSM team, process and project engineering and maintenance to ensure that the project safety aspects are captured in site activities and projects
+ Develop and maintain facility safety and environmental procedures that support corporate and regulatory requirements
+ Document and input process safety packages into electronic formats
+ Interface with and influences Operations, Maintenance, and Safety, Training, and Engineering staff to ensure that hazards are identified, risk is appropriately managed, and the required 14 elements of Process Safety Management requirements
+ Coordinate the ownership for execution of projects and action items related to High Hazard processes
+ Work with engineers to coordinate High Hazard activities, projects, MOCs/PSSRs
+ Lead the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and safe operating limits
+ Work with engineers to manage a mechanical integrity program
+ Mentor, coach train site employees on process safety management programs (29 CFR ) and verify compliance
+ Ensure all changes to processes are controlled through Management of Change and Pre-Startup Safety Review procedures
+ Must be available to be on call for emergencies.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Primarily responsible for organizing, implementing and maintaining the facility OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) for Ammonia refrigeration in compliance with federal, state and local laws. Utilizing specialized skill set to support in the maintenance and optimal operating condition of a variety of equipment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:- Schedule, conduct and track the status of compliance audits, mechanical integrity, hazard analyses, incident investigation and other action items and recommendations, as well as keeping facility management informed of compliance status
- Maintain document management system, hard copy and electronic, for all PSM / RMP records
- Written and verbal communications with refrigeration operators, facility Engineering and Maintenance management, corporate EHS and others as required in communicating the status, needs, and any necessary information regarding PSM and RMP programs
- Develop and implement training programs consistent with RMP / PSM requirements and lead PSM Team meetings. Develop and implement plans, programs, processes and documented procedures for Ammonia refrigeration programs
- Be informed and aware of refrigeration projects at the plant. Facilitate management of change (MOC) documentation, contractor qualification process and conduct incident Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- Assist plant and company personnel in improving existing EHS programs, including but not limited to chemical safety, contractor EHS management, PPE Hot Work, HAZWOPER, air and water emissions. Using specialized skill sets, perform corrective maintenance and emergency maintenance on Ammonia system equipment and facility equipment to maximize equipment up-time. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced equipment mechanical/electrical issues within specialized skill sets
- Responsible for following all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controls

- High School Diploma/GED required
- 3-5 years of experience in a PSM / RMP environment with Ammonia refrigeration
- Administrative, safety or technical experience
- Technical training in Ammonia refrigeration (GCAP, RETA, etc.) is preferred
- Able to understand and work with CAD drawings and/or schematics, or basic hand drawn diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to build and manipulate data in Excel and build templates for use by others
- Must be comfortable speaking to groups of people and facilitating meetings
- People oriented and have the ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization as well as third party and regulatory authorities
- High level of attention to detail, must be organized, and have the ability to maintain accurate records

DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Develop, implement, evaluate and maintain PSM program and related programs intended to reduce or eliminate industrial accidents and hazards associated with highly hazardous chemicals or covered processes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate process safety management program for 24/7 operations by performing tasks necessary to ensure all PSM program elements meet or exceed applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and manage documentation, compliance initiatives and reporting requirements to EPA, OSHA, KDHE and local authorities (EMA, LEPC, Fire Department).
- Coordinate and manage Risk Management Program (RMP) requirements and compliance initiatives to meet or exceed applicable requirements.
- Perform (lead) incident investigations to determine cause and possible changes to reduce the potential for reoccurrence or failure of a covered process.
- Coordinate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) as required to effectively manage covered processes tracking compliance with all applicable regulations, including, but not limited to creating and maintaining all required documentation.
- Perform Management of Change (MOC) and PreStart-up Safety Review (PSSR) analysis as required to effectively manage changes to a covered processes, including, but not limited to creating and maintaining all required documentation.
- Inspect company facility for potential hazards to reduce the potential of loss, to further define hazards, recommend improvements and monitor compliance initiatives and recommendations.
- Formulate and communicate general safety practices to be followed by company personnel to ensure all covered processes comply with applicable regulations and/or standards.
- Act as consultant to other departments regarding the design and use of equipment and/or processes to reduce the potential for loss or risk exposure.
- Co-develop training programs with the Safety Team to enhance existing programs or to develop new programs to further reduce the potential for loss.
- Consult with outside agencies in establishing and maintaining PSM and/or environmental programs.
- Monitor, update and distribute changes to the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and assist with training.
- Coordinate and manage hazardous materials response team (A-Team) training, documentation and facilitate coordination with local, state and national response teams as directed.
- Provide timely reports to management and/or regulatory agencies as directed.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Track and ensure that all findings from Mechanical Integrity Audits, Compliance Audits, Incident Investigations and Process Hazard Analysis are closed in a timely manner with the help of refrigeration and PSM personnel.
- Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team and patriciate in events including chemical releases and spills.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
- Follow Sugar Creek's safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: Three years of experience in Process Safety Management.
Certification and Licensure Requirements: OSHA 10 and 30 Safety Courses preferred; Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) and/or Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Some travel to other locations is required.
Most work is performed in a comfortable indoor, office-like facility. Some work is performed in an indoor, manufacturing facility with close proximity to heavy and hazardous machinery. Safety wear is required, including hard hat, hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirators, coats and other necessary equipment. Some work is performed outside of the manufacturing facility on premises or on roof with some safety wear needed. When needed, Hazmat-related equipment must be worn (i.e. gloves, chemical-approved clothing, respirator).

Summary
The Sports Medicine (PSM) Outreach Production Specialist is responsible for working creatively, innovatively and cooperatively with PSM and the Parkview Health Marketing Department to plan and produce video/audio content to be used internally and externally, ensuring the quality appearance of all materials. Responsible for coordinating logistics in the video production process, from ideation and content development through post-production. This may include location scouting, allocating crews and equipment, creating production schedules, scheduling interviews, and the overall coordination of shoots. Also performs a full range of media production assignments, including videography, staging, lighting, editing and other post-production functions. In addition, audio and visual needs will be organized and executed by this individual for the many community events PSM runs annually. Works with universities, high schools, clubs, athletic facilities and PSM staff to organize and oversee community event operations.

Experience
