Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking a **Psychological Assessment Technician (AT)** to join its Enrollment Management team. This full-time, in-office role plays a vital part in the admissions process by conducting interviews and psychological assessments for a high volume of student applications. The position may require occasional evening and weekend availability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct interviews and assessments with students (Pre-K - age 15) and their families
+ Administer and interpret cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and achievement assessments (under supervision)
+ Review application files including financial, medical, psychological, and academic records
+ Coordinate interview coverage and make referrals for additional services
+ Gather supplemental information as needed to support application review
+ Prepare reports for admissions committee review
+ Communicate with applicants and families throughout the process
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate application processing
+ Serve as a mandated reporter
**Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in psychology (clinical or school preferred)
+ Minimum 2 years of experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and assessment scoring software; database experience a plus
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Spanish fluency is a plus
+ Skilled in managing high-volume workflows with accuracy and efficiency
+ Sound judgment in evaluating complex information

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Counseling and Psychological Services at Emory University invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month generalist staff clinician position. We are a multidisciplinary staff that embodies the use of multicultural and collaborative approaches to provide quality care.
The Staff clinician II is a generalist position that will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and outreach services (in person and via telehealth) to a student population within a multidisciplinary and multifaceted university counseling center. These services include but are not limited to screening/triage, crisis support and intervention, short-term/brief goal-oriented individual counseling, and group counseling services. This position may also provide supervision and training of Master level trainees.
Counseling & Psychological Services is a part of the Health, Wellbeing, Access, and Prevention portfolio which includes the Center for Student Wellbeing, Office of Respect, and Student Health Services.
+ Provide culturally responsive, comprehensive, high-quality, evidenced-based short-term/brief goal-oriented individual, couples/relationship, group psychotherapy, outreach, and facilitate referrals as needed to a diverse student body (in-person and virtually).
+ Provide crisis intervention, assessments, brief interventions, counseling, treatment, and consultation in individual and group modalities to undergraduates, graduates, and professional students presenting with a varied clinical concerns.
+ Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed for after-hours consultation related to student urgent mental health needs.
+ Maintain an appropriate treatment caseload as assigned, including individual therapy cases and leading and/or co-leading groups and workshops when appropriate, and takes responsibility for ongoing monitoring and management of case assignments
+ Develop, implement, monitor, and modify clinical treatment plans that reflect evidence-based interventions that can be accomplished in a short term/brief goal-oriented treatment model.
+ Plan and facilitate treatment coordination and communication as needed, with campus partners (e.g., Student Health Services, Office of Respect, Center for Student Wellbeing), and external agencies (e.g., inpatient) to ensure students are receiving the appropriate level of care based on presenting concerns.
+ Adhere to agency standards regarding case management, documentation, and scope of services.
+ Participate as an active and engaged member of the team, including staff meetings, multicultural seminars, case conference, professional development, and other organizational meetings, and consulting appropriately with colleagues and supervisors and campus partners.
+ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work. Licensed (or license eligible within 12 months) as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.
+ Five years of social work experience is required.
+ Applicants must also have excellent clinical skills, successful experience working with full range of human diversity, and a commitment to Student Affairs campus involvement.

+ Accomplish work on a substantially independent basis, performing a full range of standard and nonstandard work assignments and resolving a variety of non-recurring problems encountered on one's own initiative. Extensive guidelines are available; however, the contractor must use judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guideline for application to the work situation at hand. Unusual matters, which may not be specifically covered by policy statements or published regulations, shall be referred to the Government supervisor.
+ Observe patients to detect behavior patterns and reports observations to licensed behavioral health staff.
+ Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures under the guidance of a licensed mental health professional.
+ As needed, complete initial intake interviews and complete required forms for new patients on behalf of the licensed mental health provider.
+ Collect and maintain monthly statistical data assigned by the workplace.
+ Administers psychological tests, compiles data and prepares reports for psychological testing under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
+ Populate and maintain a computerized database that will contain the listing of all units within the HQ organization and identify the number of service members assigned to each unit/Directorate to compile monthly training statistics.
+ Prepare daily correspondence (i.e., training agendas, meeting agendas, purchase orders, clinical appointments).
+ Assist in developing program-operating instructions, works with providers to uncover inefficiencies, and makes recommendations for corrective action.
+ Make comparison reviews, to include office time sheets, to ensure program operations are managed within budget.
+ Be responsible for the development and implementation of appointment templates for clinical providers.
+ Place physical maintenance work orders and maintain hand receipts for physical property and inventory. Ensure proper supply stock levels and reorder as necessary including specialized behavioral health forms and tests.
+ Duties also involve assisting or independently gathering data for various presentations such as process improvements initiatives, longitudinal statistical tracking, hospitalizations, and discharges. Manipulates data and presents it using off-the-shelf software applications. Provide information via telephone and in person to the members of the Command, the professional staff, civilian and military personnel in response to inquiries regarding appointments.
+ Interface frequently with the Command's family support organizations.
+ Maintain competency folders in accordance with program policy.
+ Coordinate attendance and agenda at Case Review Committee with military and civilian agencies.
+ Coordinate and reserve meeting location, verifies attendance and prepares current and tentative following week's agenda.
+ Prepare open and closed case reports for required special handling of outpatient medical records in accordance with regulations.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $16.99 - $22.99. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**HOW A PSYCHOLOGICAL/MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**
+ Under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist, social worker, psychiatric nurse or psychologist, they will provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions from prevention to treatment to individuals and who assigns work by defining objectives, priorities, deadlines, and provides guidance on assignments that do not have clear precedents.
+ Under the supervision of a credentialed provider, conduct patient intakes, assist with patient care and treatment of psychiatric, substance use, or behavioral or psychological concerns under the supervision of a credentialed provider.
+ Accomplish work on a substantially independent basis, performing a full range of standard and nonstandard work assignments and resolving a variety of non-recurring problems encountered on one's own initiative. Extensive guidelines are available; however, the contractor must use judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guideline for application to the work situation at hand. Unusual matters, which may not be specifically covered by policy statements or published regulations, shall be referred to the Government supervisor.
+ Observe patients to detect behavior patterns and reports observations to licensed behavioral health staff.
+ Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures under the guidance of a licensed mental health professional.
+ As needed, complete initial intake interviews and complete required forms for new patients on behalf of the licensed mental health provider.
+ Collect and maintain monthly statistical data assigned by the workplace.
+ Administers psychological tests, compiles data and prepares reports for psychological testing under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
+ Populate and maintain a computerized database that will contain the listing of all units within the HQ organization and identify the number of service members assigned to each unit/Directorate to compile monthly training statistics.
+ Prepare daily correspondence (i.e., training agendas, meeting agendas, purchase orders, clinical appointments).
+ Assist in developing program-operating instructions, works with providers to uncover inefficiencies, and makes recommendations for corrective action.
+ Make comparison reviews, to include office time sheets, to ensure program operations are managed within budget.
+ Be responsible for the development and implementation of appointment templates for clinical providers.
+ Place physical maintenance work orders and maintain hand receipts for physical property and inventory. Ensure proper supply stock levels and reorder as necessary including specialized behavioral health forms and tests.
+ Duties also involve assisting or independently gathering data for various presentations such as process improvements initiatives, longitudinal statistical tracking, hospitalizations, and discharges. Manipulates data and presents it using off-the-shelf software applications. Provide information via telephone and in person to the members of the Command, the professional staff, civilian and military personnel in response to inquiries regarding appointments.
+ Interface frequently with the Command's family support organizations.
+ Maintain competency folders in accordance with program policy.
+ Coordinate attendance and agenda at Case Review Committee with military and civilian agencies.
+ Coordinate and reserve meeting location, verifies attendance and prepares current and tentative following week's agenda.
+ Prepare open and closed case reports for required special handling of outpatient medical records in accordance with regulations.
+ Maintain a resource library for use by professional staff and customers. Library materials are selected with the intent of providing knowledge, ideas and support to practitioners in the fields of education, clinical social work and family studies.
