Hawai'i Pacific Health is seeking aboard-eligible or board-certified Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team on the island of O'ahu in Honolulu and be a dedicated team member providing high quality medical care in the Straub-Benioff Psychiatry & Psychology Department.
What You'll Do:
+ Psychiatric consultations and treatment for patients in the Medical and Surgical Units, as well as in the Emergency Departments at both Straub-Benioff Medical Center and Pali Momi Medical Center.
+ Close collaboration with the Hospitalists, Social Workers, Discharge Planners, Nurses, and Hospital-Based Psychologist.
+ Telehealth is a significant portion of this position, as it covers two medical centers. (Straub-Benioff Medical Center and Pali Momi Medical Center)
+ Become a member of the Straub Benioff Psychiatry & Psychology Department, which includes three outpatient psychiatrist and two psychologists

Job DescriptionAugsburg University’s APA-accredited Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program invites applications for two 0.56 FTE core faculty positions , both to begin in August 2025. Our program trains students using a broad, generalist, practitioner-scholar model, with a firm grounding in social justice. Multiculturalism is a core value of our program and is woven throughout our curriculum and practicum training experiences. This in-person program offers small class sizes and a cohesive, egalitarian faculty that holds a wide variety of theoretical orientations and applied research interests.
Preferred candidates will be committed to teaching and mentoring in clinical psychology at the graduate level. Responsibilities for this 0.56 FTE position (11-month appointment) will include teaching, academic advising, support of student research, and service to the department. Classes are generally offered Monday through Thursday, with occasional evening classes. This position will allow the individual to integrate their unique experiences and competencies within a program that emphasizes the role of context and multiculturalism in clinical psychology. All faculty are afforded time for professional practice or scholarship, which aligns with our commitment to integrate clinical practice and/or research with teaching.

Pediatric Psychology fellows have opportunities to provide patient care across our outpatient clinics and 9-story pediatric medical hospital. Fellows carry a caseload of patients in each clinic while also providing inpatient services for the respective departments. Clinical work includes providing individual therapy and family sessions to support coping with chronic health conditions, coping with new medical diagnoses, psychological factors impacting medical treatment, adherence, coping with hospitalization, and other. Interest in program development, strong clinical skills, and relevant training experiences in a medical setting are desired.
