**Financial Accounting Analyst**
**Location:** This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The **Financial Accounting Analyst** is responsible for supporting all month-close functions, including closing, analysis, reporting as well as providing project leadership.
**How You Will Make an Impact**
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ Reviews and prepares interpretation of accounting transactions and results.
+ Prepares financial, business and process presentations.
+ Identifies complex accounting problems or issues related to workflow processes, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of operational efficiency.
+ Coordinates, manages and leads complex projects and processes.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
+ Previous work experience with month end close processes, account reconciliation and statutory accounting principles preferred.

Work You'll Do
As a NTAG Tax Manager you will:
+ Lead engagement teams and work with Partners and Managing Directors to provide day-to-day management of tax accounting services to non-attest clients.
+ Manage tax accounting projects utilizing a standardized approach to review income tax provision calculations and manage the delivery of provision services.
+ Work closely with Partners and Managing Directors to expand the ASC 740 skills of our team, drive innovation, enhance cross-service line teaming, grow tax revenue, and build our Deloitte brand.

The Team
National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP made up of a number of tax service offerings. Each NFTS service offering has been developed and built as a result of a tax planning idea, a marketplace need, or a technological innovation - all with the purpose of delivering results for our clients. NTAG Operates within Deloitte's NFTS practice. NTAG professionals offer a combination of tax accounting technical capabilities and an innovative mindset to help our clients mitigate risk and identify opportunities. NTAG assists companies with all aspects of their financial reporting of income taxes including tax provision assistance and tax accounting guidance and consulting related to planning initiatives and strategic transactions (e.g., acquisition accounting, discontinued operations accounting and carve-out financial statements). In addition, we bring a fresh perspective with a strategic, innovated mindset, which allows us to increase the efficiency of the tax accounting process.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate, in person, 2-3 days per week.
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ 5+ years of experience with income taxes in accordance to ASC 740 and/or IFRS
+ A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation
+ Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) or other similar provision software
+ Professional services or comparable tax organization
+ One of the following active accreditations obtained:
+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office (if eligible to sit for the CPA)

+ Licensed attorney
+ Enrolled Agent
+ Project Management Professional (PMP)

The Tax Accounting Lead for Pillar 2 will join a dynamic Tax Team focused on innovation, disruption and new ways of thinking and working. The role, reporting to the Managing Director Tax Operations, will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Accenture's Pillar 2 forecasting, reporting & compliance, across the globe.In this new role, the Tax Accounting Lead will partner with an existing Pillar 2 project team, to implement and operationalize a robust Pillar 2 process with tax technology at its core. This cross-functional role will partner with technical tax experts, geographic controllership, Tax Technologists and external advisors to deliver robust forecasting and reporting to Finance customers, while ensuring streamlined, timely and accurate compliance with newly enacted Pillar 2 requirements around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Global oversight of Pillar 2 tax liabilities, provisioning process and disclosures.
+ Implement an integrated global compliance process for Pillar 2 taxes, working cross-functionally and cross geographies with
+ controllership groups and an external service provider.
+ Implement and operationalize a Pillar 2 control framework.
+ Technical review of Transitional Safe Harbor and GloBE calculations.
+ Responsibility for maintaining the Constituent Entity analysis using internally developed tools and a third-party engine.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance OR a graduate degree in Accounting/Tax
+ Minimum 7 years' experience with a Public Accounting firm and/or large global corporation
+ Minimum of 5 years of deep tax accounting experience with a track record of successfully managing a tax accounting or compliance function
