Experience with quantitative and qualitative social science research methods, including the ability to clearly communicate the analysis and interpretation of evaluation results to a wide range of audiences in a clear and credible manner.
Experience creating compelling data visualization products in PowerPoint and/or more sophisticated platforms.
Strong project management skills with an ability to coordinate various groups and to manage multiple projects.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and verbal, including public speaking and presenting data in compelling ways that are clear and get to the point efficiently.
Evaluation experience must be included in resume. Survey development, data interpretation and analysis and data visualization are key skills. These are NOT usually described with phrases like business optimization, data analytics, business analytics, etc. Soft skills include attention to detail, strong communication, project management and cross-functional team collaboration.

Position Description:
The Client requires the services of a full-time Data Analyst to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to help support the agency's Continuum of Care project. The primary goal of the initiative is to support improved outcomes for youth and families by creating a plan to facilitate the development of a continuum of care for at-risk youth in the District of Columbia. The Data Analyst will collaborate with the Project Director as well as government and community stakeholders in D.C. to identify and collect data relevant to the development of a plan for the establishment of a continuum of care to address gaps in service delivery for youth involved in and at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system. A well-resourced continuum of care should include a wide range of supports, from community-based prevention services for youth at risk of system involvement, to diversion and intervention services that prevent youth from penetrating deeper into the juvenile justice system, as well as re-entry services to help support with community reintegration following a period of detention.
The Data Analyst will organize and conduct research, and analyze data to support the creation of an implementation plan for the development of a continuum of care for at-risk youth in the district, that at minimum includes asset mapping, a gap analysis, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and a report detailing the continuum of care plan with an implementation timeline.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage a team of security policy and strategy experts.
+ Provide functional expertise and strategic horizon scanning on security matters, such as internet security, cybersecurity, global and national security, and how AI is affecting these areas.
+ Develop and coordinate new policy positions, strategies, global campaigns, and scalable content/tools.
+ Engage (both directly and supporting executive leadership) with policymakers, industry players, and key opinion formers in thoughtful dialogue about Google's efforts to protect society from security threats and shape multistakeholder approaches to AI security threats and opportunities.

Based in Washington, DC, the International Government Affairs (IGA) team focuses on building relationships with foreign policy leaders to advance global technical policy. The IGA team supports the company in pursuing business development opportunities and resolving complex global policy challenges. The IGA team's expertise is structured in two ways: (1) Regional Specialists engage with Washington, DC-based stakeholders to address policy issues that affect Google's operations in specific regions around the world; and (2) International Organization Leads direct Google's engagement with key international bodies such as the United Nations (UN), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and others.
