**Your New Role.**
The Associate, Social Publishing is a detail-oriented digital operator responsible for supporting the day-to-day scheduling and QA of content across the official DC social and YouTube channel ecosystem - including brand-level accounts (e.g., @DCOfficial) and iconic character accounts (e.g., Superman, Batman). Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Social Programing & Activations this role works closely with a team of Social Publishing Leads and supports real-time publishing, gathering of information and performance data, and quality control to ensure best-in-class operations across the DC channel portfolio. The Associate helps maintain publishing systems, asset and data trackers, and post documentation to ensure smooth and timely content deployment and reading of results.
**Your Role Accountabilities.**
+ Support scheduling, QA, and publishing of content across franchise social media platforms, in coordination with cross-enterprise partners, the Lead and Sr. Manager.
+ Execute post setups and metadata tagging in publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr), ensuring formatting accuracy and proper creative placement.
+ Track and log publishing activity and maintain up-to-date documentation in editorial calendars and asset trackers.
+ Flag publishing conflicts, QA issues, or content gaps to the Lead and Sr. Manager.

**Qualifications & Experience.**
Work Experience
+ At least three (3) years of experience in digital publishing, content coordination or QC, or social media support required.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge and Skills
+ Familiarity with major publishing platforms and calendar/workflow/scheduling tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Airtable, Meta Suite, YouTube Studio) required.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to format and tag content accurately required.

**Your Role Accountabilities.**

This position is responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives primarily across book, library, and academic trade channels to support DC's publishing program. Creates promotional materials and signing schedules for trade events. Work closely with Manager, Marketing on marketing DC's presence at all trade events.
- Support the Manager, Marketing in developing and distributing trade marketing support plans and updates to all key stakeholders including Sales, Editorial, Production, distribution teams, and more.
- Contribute to Title Information Sheets for individual book titles, as necessary, and upload into distributor systems. Manage the Marketing plan inputs to our book distribution partner's systems. Work closely with Book Sales team on all span deliverables.
- Attend trade shows/conventions/events as necessary to communicate priority titles and new publishing initiatives.
- Coordinate support for all academic marketing and library marketing initiatives.
- Manage all galley and promotional items distribution including management of NetGalley and Edelweiss platforms. Liaise with Editorial and Production teams to ensure galleys and all promotional materials are delivered and distributed to trade outlets and distributors in a timely manner.
- Partner with Social Strategy & Digital Content team on marketing executions for priority graphic novels and collected editions.

+ Provide strategic direction to teams on 3rd party partnerships and CME/CE accreditation
+ Represents Wolters Kluwer as an industry expert on societies, journal publishing and open access
**Financial & Operational Management:**
+ Deliver against financials and achieve budgeted revenue and cost targets while optimizing operations to drive efficiency and cost savings.
+ Set and manage multi-million-dollar P&Ls for the journal portfolio, driving revenue growth and margin improvement.
+ Partner with editorial production, marketing, and technology teams to ensure operational excellence and author satisfaction.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
+ 10+ years in managing publishing programs of scale and editorial management
+ Deep and broad knowledge of proprietary medical and nursing information and society journals and relationships
+ Strong knowledge of global scientific markets and the Open Access market, trends and operational management
+ Excellent reputation with thought leaders and researchers in medicine and nursing
+ An experienced leader in driving teams to the right outcomes while building strong talent and healthy team cultures.
+ Strong analytic mindset with experience leveraging data to drive the right decisions
+ Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with peer organizations and clients
+ Excellent communication & presentation skills for client, executive, and employee audiences delivering the right messages at the right times with tact.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a global organization with distinct divisions and shared services requiring both independent and collaborative work
+ Up to 30% travel with a strong focus on Society acquisitions and relationships

**Compensation:**
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $203,900 - $262,150
