**The assistant will heavily focus on corrections, conversions, and backlist reprints.**
**Responsibilities** **in** **clude:**
+ Making corrections to existing files
+ Resizing files into new trim sizes
+ Review and update older file assets to meet current design standards and guidelines
+ Logging and reviewing files for reprint requests, ensuring timely management of due dates and schedules
+ Creating reduction or enlargement samples
+ Reviewing files for design consistency, page makeup, and compliance with in-house standards and preflight requirements
+ Sending final files to print vendors
+ Reviewing final proofs for compliance with provided production specs and industry-standard print guidelines
+ Archiving final interior title assets
The assistant should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and extremely organized. Because the job is deadline-sensitive, this person must be able to manage their time well.
Requirements
+ Expert in Adobe InDesign - essential skill for this role; candidates without InDesign experience **will not** be considered

Demonstrable working technical knowledge of Internet-based LAN and WAN networks. Experience with content management and business intelligence systems within a higher education environment. Experience with ServiceNow administration and development. Technical experience with application development tools such as MS Visual Studio and JDeveloper.
