Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Software Testing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing in testing and live environments and in writing test scripts. This role is critical in ensuring that the software that supports the client's federal government needs is thoroughly tested with each release and update.
Although this role reports to the reports to the Training Development & QA team, its time is spent supporting a client team that is responsible for online tool development and enhancements and dotted-line reporting to their associate director. Therefore, this role will exist in both circles of influence.

Manage tickets and follow-up testing for items that did not pass testing until all items are resolved, and the epic can be closed.

Represent the team's needs during testing, assuring that previous issues experienced by the support team are included in testing.

Maintain dashboards and provide regular updates to leadership on scheduled testing, testing results, and concerns with timelines.
Minimum Qualifications

The Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) is responsible for ensuring the quality of services provided by support staff, including team leaders, supervisors, and customer service representatives (CSRs). Principal Activities
**Quality Assurance:**
+ Review items and forms to ensure they follow program specific requirements. This includes paper, online, text to speech, accommodations and ancillary materials
+ Verify the correctness and completeness of text, artwork and items in all documents for both paper and online testing as documented.
+ Verify requested edits are accurately applied and align across forms that are sent in
+ Maintain notes during the season regarding issues and ideas for efficiencies and communicate to the Program Lead.
+ Help review and research production/quality issues
**Processing Time:**
+ Process files in a timely manner, relative to overall standard processing times
+ Communicate any delays or issues to the assigned Program Lead
+ Track work queues throughout the day for programs you support and be in contact with your Program Lead regarding assignments and priorities.
**Collaboration:**
+ Attend team meetings and program meetings as needed
+ Interact primarily with the assigned Program Lead for main workload and collaborate with the entire team to cover shifting priorities
+ When queue work is slow, assist other CTD groups as needed (FQA, CDM, etc.)
**Training:**
+ Complete training on verification processes and best practices.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing electronic medical records and conducting quality control on each record to ensure we are within HIPAA (Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines.
