Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Conducts regular inspectors and audits of construction activities, materials,
and workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards. Ensures
contractor(s) is/are using qualified personnel for site work (e.g. surveyors, welders, NDE
operators, technicians, etc.)
- Documentation: Maintains accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Prepare and submit reports to management and stakeholders as required. Coordinates with the commissioning department to ensure the TOPs are correctly documented and provide a
transition plan to insure a smooth exchange of responsivities.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identifies and document non-conformance issues and works
with project teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures. Reviews and
comments as necessary and monitor the resolution of all issued nonconformances.
- Training and Guidance: Provides training and support to site personnel on quality control
procedures and best practices. Fosters a culture of quality awareness among all team members.
- Collaboration: Works closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address
quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality
processes and outcomes on-site. Engages in developing lessons learned at project site.
- Quality Assurance: Assists in the audits performed by the back-office personnel at site, and in closing
the action plan initiated as result of these audits.
- Customer's Inspections: Prior to customer's inspections to site ensures the work is complete and
ready for customer's inspection. Coordinates with the customer on all quality matters.

Qualifications:
- Minimum High School diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction
- industry.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry, with minimum 2 years in
- construction related with power industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards (e.g., ACI;
- AISC, AWS, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.· Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software.
- Certification in Quality Control is a plus
