Job Description

Kelly Services is hiring **Quality Control Inspector** for a well-established manufacturer and supplier of wire harnesses, cables, and custom components, proudly headquartered in Twinsburg since 1987.
**$18.00 - $0.00 Per Hour**
**1st Shift:** **5:00 AM-1:30 PM**
**2** **nd** **Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm**
**Training:** 2nd shift employees must be able to train on 1st shift for a few weeks. Flexible training hours available.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, and final products using physical, mechanical, or electrical measurements.
+ Rework or reject materials that do not meet quality standards.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections and audits.
+ Assist with developing or updating inspection checklists and procedures.
+ Calibrate and maintain testing equipment per company procedures.
+ Review documentation to ensure compliance with ISO, IPC, UL, CSA, and customer standards.
**Requirements:**
+ Prior experience in a **quality control or inspection** role.
+ Previous assembly and quality inspection experience.
+ Working knowledge of measurement tools and equipment.
+ **Computer proficiency** preferred.
**Physical Demands:**
+ Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs. intermittently
+ Must be able to bend, squat, stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time

**The Opportunity**
Performs both routine and complex shop inspections to determine acceptance and/or rejection of work performed in a variety of disciplines in compliance with applicable codes, standards and/or specifications. Monitors schedules and may provide technical guidance to others. Actively promotes effective implementation of Company's policies and standards in support of projects. This position may be responsible for direction of other QC staff or third party/agency quality professionals on assigned inspections. Supports development of or revisions to policies and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Receives and reviews shop inspection documentation packages.
+ Contact the respective Requisitioning Engineer to determine any unique technical requirements or concerns prior to initiating inspection.
+ Coordinates travel schedule in support of project schedules and suppliers' fabrication/testing schedules, to maximize inspection efficiencies.
+ Conducts shop inspections in accordance with project requirements, codes and standards, inspection packages and Requisitioning Engineer requests.
+ These inspections could includePre-fabrication meetings, in-process inspections, witnessing factory acceptance tests, Q Cdocumentation reviews, final inspections and/or pre-shipment inspections.
+ Inspections may include welding inspections, dimensional examinations, equipment alignment inspections, coating examinations and Non-Destructive testing or oversight of testing by suppliers or other third parties.
+ Performs receipt inspections of goods at supplier's facilities to determine compliance with requirements, verifies certified material test records.
+ Inspections may involve complex materials (e g: titanium, P91, other alloys) or equipment (e g: compressors, transformers, heat exchangers, etc.)
+ Verifies shop welding and welding documentation, applied coatings and linings meets code and specification requirements including review of Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) records.
+ Advises issues discovered during the inspection that could jeopardize the safety, integrity or acceptance of the items inspected.
+ Determines any non-conformances, participates in corrective actions, and ensures appropriate resolution and documentation occur.
+ Prepares, reviews and/or generates records, reports, correspondence, and other documentation as required in compliance with procedures including identifying and assessing improvement opportunities.
+ Mentors and provides technical direction.
+ Acts in capacity of a "lead person."
+ Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
**Management Responsibilities**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ BA in Engineering or Construction or equivalent geographical qualification in a related discipline degree (preferred.)
+ Certification in discipline (e g: American Welding Society (AWS), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Institute for Supply Management (ISM)) or relevant geographical equivalent certification is preferred.

This position is in GE Healthcare's MIM Software business which makes vendor-neutral imaging software to standardize your workflow and simplify increasingly complex clinical scenarios. Leading global healthcare organizations use MIM® to give patients more precise, personalized care.
QA Manager is a versatile and dynamic member of the Quality team. The QA Manager will support the CAPA system, Complaint Management and Document Control activities to ensure that processes and outputs adhere to applicable FDA, EU regulations, ISO 13485:2016, and other governing regulations applicable to MIM Software. They will also keep up to date with the requirements of the industry and develop a deep understanding of company processes to build a robust and efficient QMS to support the business. The QA Manager is responsible for adherence to the MIM Software Quality System.
As a critical member of the team, you will ensure adherence to the MIM/GE HealthCare Quality Management System and regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and MDSAP. By employing strong critical thinking and influencing skills, you will work cross-functionally to ensure robust quality decisions. In this role, you will have a direct impact on ensuring patient safety, audit readiness, and the commercial delivery of MIM Software/ GE HealthCare systems.

**Job Description**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Ensure QMS processes such as Document Control, Complaint Management, Post-Market activities, CAPA, Training, etc meet all applicable quality & regulatory standards.
+ Write, update, and review quality documents, procedures, policies and business processes ensuring on-going compliance with current regulations, standards and applicable certifications.
+ Assist and lead in investigating nonconformities and use appropriate tools to determine the root cause.
+ Develop product knowledge to make informed decisions that influence product quality and safety.
+ Support audits by promptly delivering complete and accurate records.
+ Work with other stakeholders in the company to track and monitor successes and pain points of QMS processes.
+ Implement improvements to drive compliance, quality, and efficiency of these processes.
+ Participate in risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies and risk management plans, provide review/approval as needed.
+ Assist during audits in the room (supplier, critical supplier, notified body, or otherwise)
+ Proficient knowledge of MIM's product portfolios and Primary Products and classifications.
+ Stay current with the latest guidance documents, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
+ Assist in other areas of the QMS as directed by the manager.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
+ At least 7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance in a regulated industry, either Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals, preferably with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
+ Demonstrated understanding of Medical Device Quality Management System requirements and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDA CFR 21 820, ISO 13485, and MDSAP.

+ Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
