Job Description
The Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail, and AWS products. The primary objective of the QS organization is to provide manual testing support, which includes regression and new feature/product testing.
As a Quality Services Manager, you will manage subject matter experts (SMEs) and first-level managers. You will mentor and coach SMEs and first-level managers and ensure test case execution process is managed well. You will be the point of contact for functional Quality Assurance (QA) Managers for clarifications and queries around project execution/work allocation. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects and stakeholder management. You will continuously raise the performance bar of the Quality Services organization. You will look at process optimization and implement improvements in quality / productivity. In addition to managing process improvements and work allocation, you will monitor daily floor operations, create reports, review QSAs performance on regular intervals, and ensure productivity and quality deliverables are met. You will also be responsible for performance management of all the reporting QSAs /SME / Managers.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage daily operations through first-level Managers while staying well-connected with ground-level operations.
2. Model capacity planning and ensure that idle time and commitment misses are minimized.
3. Identify, report, troubleshoot, and escalate issues.
4. Drive process improvements and metrics to improve the overall team performance.
5. Use software tools for data capture/execution/reporting on a daily basis.
6. Capture team test results and provide project status reports.
7. Monitor Daily Productivity of team members and ensure they are on track for project delivery.
8. Participate in team training and development.
9. Manage performance and expectations of the workforce through consistent implementation of performance measurement and feedback systems.
10. Implement strategies for managing attrition, improving performance, and maintaining workforce morale.
11. Manage career path, performance reports, and provide growth paths for promising employees.
12. Manage and improve performance of lower performers.
13. Set ground rules in the initial stages of new projects and incorporate them into the standard process.
14. Work with functional QA and QS org to identify gaps and coordinate with process experts to fill them.
Basic Qualifications
1. Graduate of any field of study.
2. 12+ years of relevant experience.
3. 2+ years of experience managing first-level managers.
4. Experience with stakeholder management.
5. Experience managing testing projects.
6. Experience creating and implementing strategies to provide coverage recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Education in a quantitative field such as science and engineering preferred.
2. People, process and stakeholder management with business perspective.
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an unstructured and evolving environment.
4. Good people manager who can manage and motivate direct reports.
5. Good communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $115,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Job Description
The Quality Services Coordinator is responsible for the quality activities for the Youth and Family Services and the Adult Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Services programs. This person will assist in organization-wide quality activities under the direction of the Director of Quality Services within the Quality Assurance & Research Team.
Location: Rahway, NJ 07065
Minimum Qualifications:
* The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, two years of experience in support of social service programs, and demonstrated ability in the areas of written and verbal communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
* Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
* Experience with diverse community populations including young adults and adults with behavioral health needs, New Jersey regulatory bodies, New Jersey Medicaid, and/or Managed Care is highly preferable.
* Knowledge of electronic health record applications is a plus.
Quality Services Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the Director in daily quality service operations of Northern New Jersey programs.
* Collaborates with program teams during accreditation periods. Provide training and guidance to program teams in accreditation standards during off-cycle timeframes.
* Collaborates with program teams during licensure reviews. Provide training and guidance to program teams in licensure, government partner, and organizational standards.
* Works closely with the Director to prepare for and facilitate monthly and quarterly meetings including but not limited to site safety, incident review, performance improvement, and infection control.
* Primary contact for AWARDS Help Desk inquiries; finding resolutions and providing support.
* Supports the Quality Assurance & Research department with other organization-wide activities including but not limited to internal audits, mock surveys, individual served satisfaction surveys, program outcomes, policy review and other performance improvement initiatives as assigned.
