Were seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis to join our Structured Debt Client Platform team. This role is located in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA .
In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with internal and external datasets and client reference data to provide analysis in the development of statistical, financial, and/or econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other sophisticated concepts.
- Provide analytical support and prepare drafts of standard and ad hoc reports for the assigned area.
- Support assigned area with advanced statistical and quantitative analyses, serving as a resource to less experienced colleagues.
- Use technology tools such as SQL, querying, and macro development to extract data, run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective action.
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.

- Interpreting legal verbiage found in securitization documents and translating it into the mathematics and the economics of the transaction through a cash-flow waterfall model
- Coding payment rules using programming languages such as Python
- Build Investor Report that include distributions to the holders and high-level asset level information
- Providing guidance to, and reviewing the reports and calculations of junior analysts as well as translating complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences
- Work in a high-intense and fast paced environment
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
- 4+ years of work experience in asset-backed securities (RMBS, ABS (Esoteric and Traditional, RESEC, CMBS, MILN, ETC.)

Data Analytics & ReportingUses advanced analytical algorithms and technologies (e.g. machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence) to mine and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data to obtain insights. Designs and constructs new processes for modeling data. Develops predictive models and leverages big data technology to design solutions that deliver smarter business decisions, improve customer experience, and drive productivity. Collaborates with other data and analytics professionals and teams to optimize, refine and scale analysis into mature analytics solutions.
- Plays an active role in the futuristic display of data, and advancement of innovative data strategies to understand consumer trends and address business problems.
- Collaborates with the product team and partners to understand and provide data-driven decision making, business planning and future roadmap.
- Collaborates with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data and modeling needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Designs, builds, and maintains large-scale data pipelines for reporting, analysis and machine leaning/deep leaning models.
- Conducts large-scale analysis of information to discover patterns and trends by combining different modules and algorithms.
- Develops machine learning/deep learning models. Investigates additional technologies and tools for developing innovative data solutions for business stakeholders.
- Uses analysis to provide recommendations and advice for business leaders to maintain to maintain market competitiveness.

Qualifications:
Advanced level of proficiency:
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of data science experience.
- In-depth knowledge in machine learning and deep learning models, such as but not limited to, XGboosting, LSTM and LLM etc.
- Data visualization and polished communication skills.
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and ML models quickly.
- Trust, bias and ethics.
- Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration.
- Able to manage ambiguity.
- Data driven decision making.
- Experience with GenAI LLM models
- Experience with MLOps, building workflows for model retraining, monitoring and deploying
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch

Salary :
$122,400.00 - $228,000.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
