Roles and Responsibilities
+ Perform technical engineering and problem solving for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) System of System problems with a focus on radar.

Basic Qualifications

In your role as a Senior Systems Engineer - Radar Electronic Protection, you will:
- Develop models and/or detailed simulations to support system design evaluation.
- Conduct data analysis to assess system performance.
- Write verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and software specifications.

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $19,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

+ Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the development and execution of systems engineering plans from requirements identification through design verification. Plan and execute engineering strategies in accordance with approved project acquisition strategies and plans:
+ Perform requested aspects of technical analysis and systems engineering support to facilitate aspects of architecture design, interoperability, specification analysis and development, solutions implementation and systems sustainment of supported project.

The Description:

• Perform engineering duties in architecting, designing, integrating and testing aircraft and weapons systems. Conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of computer software and hardware to aircraft and ground station design and manufacture.
• Recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques. Performs the role of System Architect. Coordinates technical input from NAVAIR subject matter experts to form technical recommendations to program engineering and program management.

Job Description:
The Army Soldier and Weapons Systems Department is seeking a technical oriented, radar systems engineering leader to serve in the PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS) office in Huntsville, AL. Successful candidates will work closely with senior government civilian and military leaders to define and execute MITRE's work. The candidate must be willing to support meetings and engage with government stakeholders at least four days a week. Regular sponsor interaction will be required, and the candidate may be expected to co-locate in government or contractor spaces. This position is located in Huntsville, AL and open to qualified Lead step and above applicants.
As an experienced electrical engineer, you will apply engineering principles and expertise to bring technical solutions to bear on the government's toughest challenges in the acquisition, design, testing, integration, verification, and fielding of ground radar capabilities. This position will work within a PEO MS radar program office and help as part of an integrated product team lead strategic technical roadmaps and deliver technical performance and risk analyses for ground-based missile defense radar development.
