**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Position will be 4 days per week. Weekday and weekend call.**
Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology in which minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. These doctors specialize in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments. As an **_Interventional Radiology Technologist_** , you can expect to do the following:
You role is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special/Interventional Procedures, and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Your role maintains strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referring physicians.
You will consistently demonstrate critical thinking skills in day to day job prioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
You must be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, as well as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
+ Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
+ Current ARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) and current BLS Required.
+ Interventional/Special Procedure experience preferred.
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ (ARRT-R) Radiography
+ Certificate
No Travel Required
3 years' experience preferred

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Under the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Generates appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
+ Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license or current certification by ARRT with advanced certification in Interventional Radiology (IR).
+ Must maintain current registry. BLS required.
+ ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RN's within the first 3 months of hire during orientation period.
+ Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
+ Prefer 2 years recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Performs angiography, special procedures and radiological diagnostic procedures/exams. Operates IR equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for exams/procedure s. Maintains sterile technique and field. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE. Is able to provide care to assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment. Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Generates appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management
What qualifications you will need:- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license or current certification by ARRT with advanced certification in Interventional Radiology (IR).
- Must maintain current registry. BLS required.
- ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RN’s within the first 3 months of hire during orientation period.
- Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
- Prefer 2 years recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.
- Skills commensurate with formal training required.

Job Description
We are searching for a Radiology Specialist - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll perform exceptional and specialized radiographic procedures at the request of the licensed independent practitioner for interpretation by radiologists. You will integrate scientific knowledge, technical skills, patient interaction, and compassionate care to result in diagnostic information. Think you've got what it takes?
Qualifications:
Technical diploma from a formal diagnostic radiology program required
R-ARRT and CMRT certification required
3 years' radiology experience required
Responsibilities:
- Check rooms daily for adequate stock levels and update supply lists when needed
- Confirm patient identity with approved identifiers and prepare patients for procedures
- Verify patient's pregnancy and informed consent statuses
- Assess factors that may contraindicate the procedure
- Determine type and dose of contrast agent to be administered based on the patient's medical/physical status
- Provide clear and detailed information about the procedure to the patient, family, and others
- Maintain current knowledge of equipment, materials, medications, and processes
- Work independently and perform routine and complex procedures while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology skills
- Serve as an educational resource to others
- Applies ALARA principles, including use of technical factors, to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others
- Document fluoroscopic time, radiation exposure, incidents, variances, unusual circumstances, and/or patient concerns
- Apply patient safety principles during all aspects of radiographic procedures
- Report all equipment issues to Bio-Med
- Consult with radiologists and/or medical physicists with image quality issues
- Maintain positive lines of communication radiologists, leadership, nurses, peers, staff, and others monstrate a detailed understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique
