Responsibilities

- Assigned project elements may involve rail stations, facilities, bridges, structures, roadways and other transportation and infrastructure facilities. Projects may be within railway right-of-way, therefore working knowledge of railway systems is required
- Duties may include reading and understanding contract language making recommendations for partial and final contractor payments
- Organizing and managing a project team for execution of the assigned contract
- Monitoring project budgets, supervising and managing personnel and making recommendations on project staffing

- Preparation of independent construction estimates and managing the contractor payment process

- Reviews inspection data, material test results, resolves test discrepancies and construction issues impacting quality of construction

Dexian has been engaged to identify a Senior Manager, IT for the Transportation Portfolio ( located in Fort Mill, South Carolina) who is responsible for overseeing both the Transportation Management System (TMS) and the Pool Shipper Application, with a primary focus on ensuring system stability, support, and the management of the system development lifecycle for capital projects within the portfolio.
This key role involves leading the scoping, budgeting, delivery, and resource management (including both the company staff and external contractors) for IT projects within TMS and Pool Shipper. Additionally, the Senior Manager plays a key role in strategy development, collaborating with Architectural Engineering to create and execute multi-year roadmaps for maintaining and enhancing the applications.
The position also entails driving operational efficiencies and cost savings by partnering with business teams to implement best practices, utilizing the systems' core functionalities and data to achieve optimal outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for managing Transportation IT delivery and support
- Understands the fundamental business activities performed by company and the supporting Transportation team

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $136,000.
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
