- Performs Grade D gowning and material transfers

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** : Physically and visually assess quality attributes (i.e. color, size, defects, mispacks, etc.) of raw materials against supplier or governmental specifications. - Provides timely, relevant and actionable management reporting for commodity cost status, supplier performance, open issues and potential constraints
- Ensure development activities are on track to meet vehicle SOP
- Awareness and inclusion of all engineering changes, supplier process/performance issues, to meet program timing deliverables
- Manage the preparation of and presentation of commodity and supplier status
- Assessing program capacities, communicating the vehicle program needs so the team can properly support the program
- Providing purchasing's input throughout the various milestones of the development cycle (sourcing, launch readiness, post launch supplier issues/recognitions, etc.) to ensure a successful program
