The Associate Traffic Engineer will work in a team environment under supervision and mentorship of senior project engineers and will participate in all aspects of project development including field work and design.

Job Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be involved with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

Traffic Analysis utilizing Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) methodologies, Highway Capacity Software (HCS), Synchro, 2D and 3D Simulation (VISSIM, Simtraffic etc.).

Traffic Counts and Project Traffic Volume Forecasting and Development based on ITE, state and local guidelines.

Traffic/Transportation Impact Studies (TIS) in accordance with PennDOT guidelines and local ordinances as well as review of TIS prepared by other firms.

Traffic Signal Design and Plans; and Pavement Marking and Signing Plans.

Roundabout Studies and Designs; Parking, Pedestrian and Bike Planning Studies

Additional Required Attributes:

• Degree Required: BS Civil Engineering
• Licenses required: EIT certification is required and on track to take the Professional Engineer's Exam.
