SUMMARY:
The ASM position is responsible for all day-to-day operation, supporting the Manager and management of the business and of leading a team to deliver the ultimate client experience.

The ASM will also work closely with the Manager to help oversee human resource management, public relations/marketing, customer service/relationship management, and fiscal accountability. This position requires accessibility including first point of contact 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

ROLE SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY:
This role ensures that the business is running at maximum efficiency, the client experience is delivering on expectations and goals, the staff is receiving applicable training and development, and the business is operating at a profit.

The ASM is responsible for oversight of operating according to the laws of the State and that all employees (Cerologists) have the appropriate licenses, abilities to perform the duties assigned, and is adept at delivering a high-end client experience.

Assistant Studio Manager Responsibilities:

• Manager on Duty when Studio Manager is out, ensuring daily production is met and member experience is held to a high standard
• Assist in coordinating initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
• Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems, including meeting performance metrics through membership sales
• Manage, monitor, coach-develop and evaluate the performance of all Sales Associates
• Compliance and adherence to Business Policies for daily studio operations

• Responsible for New Hire onboarding and delivery of initial Sales Associate training schedule

The **Studio Production & Photography Assistant** supports the day-to-day operations of our in-house studio, ensuring photo and video shoots run smoothly and efficiently. This role works closely with photographers, videographers, stylists, and producers to assist with setup, teardown, lighting, gear management, and general production needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about photography, studio operations, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and eager to learn more about commercial content production. Success in this position means keeping shoots running on time, maintaining an organized studio environment, and supporting the team in capturing high-quality creative content.
This position reports to the **Manager of Content** and is expected to work from the **Adventure Sport** platform in Irvine, CA.
**As the Studio Production Assistant, you will have an opportunity to:**
+ Assist with on-set prep including lighting setup, camera gear, grip equipment, and product staging
+ Help manage studio organization, gear checklists, and daily maintenance
+ Support photographers and videographers during shoots by adjusting lighting, pulling focus, managing cables, and moving equipment
+ Work with stylists and producers to keep talent, wardrobe, and props organized and on schedule
+ Assist with digital asset handling-offloading, organizing, and backing up footage and photography files as needed
+ Ensure production spaces are tidy, safe, and reset after each shoot
+ Handle miscellaneous production tasks such as prop sourcing, supply runs, or organizing call sheets
+ Participate in pre-production meetings and provide logistical support for larger campaigns or location shoots
**You have:**
+ 1-2 years of experience assisting in a photo, video, or content production setting preferred
+ Degree or coursework in photography, film, media production, or a related field is a plus
+ Familiarity with basic camera systems, lighting gear, and studio equipment
+ Comfortable lifting, moving, and setting up gear and sets
+ Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, or file organization software is a bonus
+ Strong multitasking and time management skills in fast-paced environments
+ Willingness to learn on set and take direction with a positive attitude
+ Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
