The target hiring compensation range for this role is 24.00 to 26.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

- Coordinate interview scheduling through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and scheduling tools, making the process smooth and seamless for candidates and teams alike.
- Arrange and manage candidate travelincluding booking and reimbursementto ensure a stress-free, welcoming experience.
- Maintain the Talent Acquisition teams calendar, managing meeting invites, logistics, and room reservations with care and precision.
- Greet and host candidates onsite at our Dallas office, offering thoughtful tours and helping create a comfortable, positive interview experience.
- Keep candidates informed throughout the process by managing timely communications through our ATS.
- Process background checks, track results, and ensure steps are completed in a timely and organized way.

H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for exceptional students in the Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, and Project Management spaces for EMBARK, our 2025 Summer Internship Program. As an intern, you will work at our corporate headquarters in the premier downtown Power & Light District of Kansas City, where everything is either steps or a streetcar ride away.
Our office offers an onsite fitness gym and Starbucks, an awesome company dining room, free parking, and more. At H&R Block, we provide college students real-life work experience that directly correlates to their field of study while making a valuable contribution to our organization.
Embark is an 11-week paid internship experience from May 18, 2026 - July 31st, 2026.

Throughout the 11-week internship, under the guidance of a leader, some of the internship responsibilities will include:

Giveback: involves participating in Make Every Block Better community service events. The goal is to teach the importance of community, make an impact, and provide bonding time for teams.

About the Role
As the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition- Executive Recruiting, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the future leadership landscape of Walmart. You will report directly to the Global Head of Executive Recruiting. Your key responsibilities will include understanding the needs of the business and closely partnering with Global Talent and Learning's Talent Management function to deliver a world class executive hiring process. This includes leveraging your deep market expertise, knowledge of the executive talent landscape, and experience attracting and hiring executive level talent. Furthermore, you will manage strategic partnerships with our vetted executive recruiting firms, ensuring we have relationships with the best to secure exceptional leaders.
**What you'll do.**
+ Work with the business to identify hiring needs at the Officer level. Understand the role, the capabilities needed for success now, and in the near future. Serve as the expert to guide the decision-making process of moving forward with an external search or identifying internal talent to fill the role.
+ Partner closely with the talent management function to build candidate slates that include internal talent.
+ Build tight partnerships with external agencies that have consistently delivered successful candidates to the business. Serve as a liaison to the agency and the business to "white glove" the process from identifying the talent need to serving up candidates. Hold our partner agencies to KPIs to ensure quality delivery.
+ Interface with Senior Leadership to understand the talent needs while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and understanding sensitivity of searches Live Walmart Values and serve as a brand ambassador when engaging with candidates and the external market.
+ Stay updated with market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent movements within the industry; conduct regular market analysis to identify potential candidates. Leverage data and insights to influence successful searches.
+ Manage and evolve the processes for executive recruiting to ensure a world-class experience that delights the business and candidates.
+ Partner with Talent Management team to proactively pipeline internal and external talent.
What you'll bring.
+ Talent management background, understanding the capabilities needed in Walmart and in the business leadership.
+ A partnership mindset, knowing how to seamlessly collaborate with our internal and external partners.
+ Experience in recruitment, preferably at senior leadership levels with a mix of in-house Corporate (Retail industry not required, but a plus) ; external search experience.
+ A passion for creating a high touch, white glove experience for our candidates.
+ A highly detail-oriented way of working and unafraid to get into the process details to ensure a seamless experience.
